Tranquil Park Maleny

Room had been freshly renovated and balcony views were astounding - daytime or night time; staff very friendly and helpful; restaurant and meals were great and the lack of noise, especially at night is something to be experienced - appropriately named 'Tranquil Park'. Plenty to see and do up on the range and quite a variety of eateries and shops. Nambour and the Maroochy coastline also very inviting and only a stone's throw away. Take three days sometime mid-week and unwind up here - you won't regret it.

Yes we were late checking in had lunch at malany..played golf..did Gardner's falls.(frigging awesome)..got to our sleeping place..Lyle greeted us..what can I say he was so friendly ..accommodating.. wasn't a problem for him ..Thank you for a wonderful stay our room was to die for balcony and view was ahhh.being our47th wedding anniversary we had a great stay ..we will return.xx

We had our wedding here just recently. Honestly nothing was too much trouble. Brian is very accommodating when it comes to the menu for dietary requirements and children. The staff were all lovely and very helpful on the wedding night.
I have a couple of criticisms that they might be able to reflect and learn from.
1. I feel communication between staff isn't at it's highest. Things we discussed with Brian the staff didn't know on the night. What time the bar started etc
2. The kids pizza wasn't great. Chicken nuggets were great. I think the pizza needs changing to home made and not a frozen one especially for such a special event. I wouldnt mind paying more if need be.
3. My iced flowers from the wedding cake wasn't packed with the cake. We went away straight after our wedding. So we didn't realize we didn't get them. Had Tranquil called us we could have organised someone to go get them. A little disappointed we didn't get our flowers. Not the end of the world tho.
The food for our wedding was absolutely delicious and in general the service from the staff was great, all lovely and friendly.
The other thing was our room. They put me in a family room that had a very narrow entry. No thought went into that one. I'm not sure how I was going to leave the room in my wedding dress lol. All ended okay after requestibg a room change lol.
Overall definitely deserve 5 stars but it's always good for honest feedback for reflection.

We had our wedding reception at Tranquil Park and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly, very professional and the food was to die for! All compliments from our guests!! Thank you so much!

Stayed one night at double room with balcony. Spectacular view, room is basic and spacious. With $190 per night during school holidays, I would say very good value for money. It's basically a Motel price with awesome view as a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and have a relaxing time at the end of our 10 day holiday. If there's some basic cookware and bowls would be great.

Excellent place, amazing view, the food is very good, but the roomns # 28-31 I stayed on Room 30, they are well equipped, the only problem was that the structure is light, so you can hear between rooms, and the deck is only one for all the rooms so I imagine that if it's full you will have noice and lack of privacy

The staff were very good helpful. Helped by disabled son down hill on 2 wet nights after dinner. Very pleasant folk all of them. Our rooms shower needs a door urgently and there is zero ventilation so everything is wet - had to put towels on floor after every shower. So that is not good. The guy who put in shower drainage did a very poor job. The views of dairy cows 🐃🐄🐂 the undulating green pastures are magnificent. Enjoyed our 3 weeks. We would stay again. Food was good. Needs some Irish Stew. All in all a lovely stay. Visited many places in and beyond. 🙃

Great and friendly staff, rooms are basic, nothing over the top, but all seem to be with a great view, ideal if you're coming to stay at Maleny for a function or event. There were extra blankets in the cupboard and complimentary milk and timtams in the fridge, along with coffee and sugar.

I recently held my wedding ceremony and reception at Tranquil Park and I could not be happier with the service I received. No request was too much and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and even the rain wasn’t an issue with a quick transfer to their indoor area. This was by far the most affordable venue in the area for value and I’ve since had many of our guests say that they would also like to consider holding their weddings here.
To top it all off there is accommodation on site which is super convenient and easy for getting ready and closing off the night.
I’m so happy that we chose to have our wedding here.

The view from the room was fantastic, the place is cosily nestled within scenic hills. The staff are so kind and friendly. They even helped me commute a couple of times as I did not have a car. Fab experience. I highly recommend.

Had my wedding here and tranquil made sure everything ran smoothly, have us plenty of time to set up and pack down. They were understanding to all of needs, provided amazing food for the wedding accommodating to everyone. The rooms are large and just what you need for your special day my large ball gown wedding dress fit in the massive cupboard keeping it from wrinkling. The views are to die for all anyone could talk about. This place truly so grateful for everything and all staff are so friendly. Big shout to Emma who helped me every step of the way, can't thank you enough 😁

We stayed here for a wedding, one stop shop, from the ceremony, reception, accommodation and breakfast. Meals were incredible, rooms were clean and massive with great views. the wedding space was stunning, staff were so friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway or function.

Everything about my recent stay was superb. The view was immaculate. The food at the restaurant at Tranquil Gardens was simply delicious. The staff were all very friendly, very knowledgeable about the local area, and very helpful. The only slight issue was that if I had my balcony door open I could hear the other rooms, but closing that door solved that perfectly, and the air-conditioner was quite quiet and very effective. I look forward to going back!

The rooms have spectacular views, but some have steep stairs not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

We cannot recommend them highly enough. All the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

I've stayed at Tranquil Park a few times in 2022 and the location is stunning and the quality of the rooms is high value at affordable prices, exceptionally clean and the friendly staff and manager go above and beyond what you may expect. The restaurant offers gluten free for us Coeliacs and the service is exceptional and you can even have room service for the rainy stormy eves which makes for the perfect cosy getaway. Its a breath of freshair to find Quality service still exists post covid and it seems rare now a days. 5 star +

Had an impromptu lunch with my daughter last Sunday and ended up at Tranquil Park. The staff were really lovely and professional, the food and beer were lovely. The view is as good as it gets and it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were.

I'd like to give a quick shout out to the young waitress (she snuck our food order in before the table of 30 people) which is the essence of a great hospitality worker, kudos to you.

We booked our wedding reception with Lyle at Tranquil Park. We had a small number of guests (13). Lyle went above and beyond to make sure our experience was so wonderful. All of our meals were catered to, and he helped with the set up in the morning (which we were so grateful for). The view is absolutely amazing, and venue itself is so full of character, including all of the modern finishes. A big thank you to the whole team who made it such a wonderful night.
