Barrabool Maze Estate

Although I put 5 stars on Room it was meant for food. We have visited maze first , best go to toilet before enter it as you can really get lost there. There was no cheat escape option!
We visited their cafe and we have ordered vegetarian platters! They were huge! And absolutely delicious! I recommend it! People were friendly too! Nice garden also!

The food was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend the veggie platter with feta cheese. (The salmon was great too) The experience was very memorable. The lead server remembered my name after only meeting me briefly in the morning, I have never felt so welcome! Very happy.

Had fun navigating the maze, and even on a hot day the gardens were lovely to walk around. Some sloping gravel paths but manageable. Very good coffee, lunch was great and good value, and the staff friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Our Seniors Group had a very nice, warm & cosy coffee morning. The drinks were lovely and the scones delicious. The service was friendly and prompt! We'll be back!

We just had a play in the gardens, looked at some chooks, peackocks and ginea fowl, didn't do the maze. The play equipment was not ideal for a toddler but not bad. The gardens are pretty steep and my kid likes running down hills at the moment, we had fun though! The Cafe was very nice and accommodating, and I think the owner was very helpful to me as I had my kid they're by myself so that was lovely. We'll definitely be back, great experience.

Only visited the maze & Gardens- lots of fun had by the kids. Our youngest lead the way and promptly got us lost! Something different and enjoyable to do.

We enjoyed our 4th visit to Barrabool Maze this past weekend since discovering it a couple of years ago. Still get lost in the maze each visit. Maze is great fun, cafe, staff and atmosphere is really lovely. Playground and gardens to also explore make for a great day out.

Kids had a great morning.
Great service and food.
So lucky to have a beautiful place like this locally.

First visit in a while. Great establishment and we'll catered for. Service from young staff was new, effort and attitude with elderly was impressive.. I look forward to returning after more experience. No doubt there is plenty of potential there 😊

Came here with my daughter to kill some time while on school holidays. The location itself is amazing and beautiful. The maze itself is well maintained and designed in a way to keep you looking around for quite some time. Aside from the maze, the general area is nice enough to wander around, explore and spend some time walking. There are some animals (chickens, pheasants, etc...) which my daughter liked. After exploring we went inside to have some lunch, It was very nice, cosy and with a rustic ambience and the food was amazing. Even for a lunch getaway, the food is worth the drive. Good and friendly service from staff as well. Will certainly come back.

Fantastic cafe, very yummy food and Great service. Great place to go as a family. The maze was fantastic! Exhausting chasing the kids but fun. And the gardens were beautiful even on a rainy day . Highly recommend for a great family day out.

My toddler loved seeing the peacocks, pheasants and chickens.
The maze is a fun activity with little hidden pictures, tunnels and a cubby and slide mid maze to keep the kids occupied whilst attempting to navigate to all the lookouts and the exit 😅. Apart from the stairs for the lookouts we navigated two prams through the whole maze.
The cafe is priced well and delicious food. Kids enjoyed the little gnome door in the outdoor area of the Cafe, so us adults could eat without them getting too rowdy.
Very enjoyable day out.

Brilliant! Attended for a birthday celebration. The food was fabulous - great variety, generous serves and friendly, obliging wait staff. Local wines. Great ambience, good heating (it was a cold day), blankets if required. Beautiful surroundings. This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely loved it and will return soon.

A fairytale place with an amazingly manicured maze (which is actually quite challenging to find the way out, but immense fun with the kids) and beautiful gardens and lake. Excellent selection of food. Only had the breakfas menu ourselves but all guests were very impressed and fantastic coffee. Some beautiful wildlife to admire as well.

I was really happy how pretty it was! Lovely gardens and the maze is big. We were seated in the cafe without reservation on a Saturday morning. Big mug of mocha and bf had a delicious brownie. Will definitely be back.

Went here today to celebrate a 5th birthday! The maze & Garden's were fantastic, perfect setting for any age! The service was amazing, kept bringing out water bottles to our table along with ice, very much appreciated! The food was absolutely delicious & prices were great too. An over all great time by us all! Will definitely be back

A picturesque location with great food. We always love to get here for brunch. Typically they serve brekky and lunch both within Thursday - Sunday.
They got an amazing garden and maze. Added to the views are the farmlands on nearby hills of Barrabool range. During spring time you shouldn't miss the view of canola fields in full bloom.
