What a beautiful National Park.
I used to visit as a kid but had bad memories so haven't been in a very long time. So glad I went back. The campground has been improved so much and the views and area is absolutely stunning. There is a fairly new toilet block with plenty of toilets. It also has a accessible ramp.
The dirt road in was in good condition on my trip, however it does have a reputation for being in disrepair at times and as such might be a put off due to it being 9kms of dirt. Recommended to Book well in advance as this ground gets booked out quickly.

Lovely spot! Little hidden gem. Toilets were surprisingly so clean and smelt amazing as toilets go! No showers. You’ll need a sturdy car to get through to the campground but it’s brilliant once you make it through. Some parts of the river have a very strong current so not ideal for kiddies but just past the boat ramp the river is beautiful and calm, perfect for kiddies. Book in advance! It books out very quickly. We booked 3 months in advance and got the last spot! We had spot 21 which had direct access to the river, it was perfect for us. But if you have a large caravan or camper set up, go for spots 25-28. Can’t wait to go back!

Drop toilets are amazing, especially as I hate public toilets as a rule, camp site spic and span, BBQ was spotless. Campground manager was very helpful

Great spot, beautiful location and as all other reviewers have already commented, the amenities are incredibly clean. We were there in winter and sat at the edge of the little island for more than an hour looking at the whales, dolphins, and even saw a seaturtle!!

Clean, quiet with good toilet block, campsites and individual fire pits. Good gas B.B.Qs. Shade, picnic tables, estuary and beach. No childrens play equipment (good thing). Make your own fun. Very relaxing and picturesque. Bring everything you need including firewood.

Very well maintained campground for only $24 easily booked on the national parks website. Awesome views and cool island that you can walk to and explore rock pools at low tide.

A remote beach location- definitely worth a visit. The road can be a bit rough after rain.

I kind of want to rate this as one star so that no one ever comes here and I have way more chance of getting a spot when I want one. Now one of my favourite camping spots!

Just a piece of paradise, just spent 3 out of 4 weeks there. Lance the caretaker does an awesome job, the sites and long drop toilets are exceptional, and nothing is ever a bother to him if you need assistance with anything. But in saying that it's remote and may not suit everyone.

Amazing place. The caretaker goes around every morning cleaning sites, paths, bbq areas, etc, I have never seen drop toilets so pristine. Highly recommend. And even more so during the week as weekends fill up.
