The Union Club Hotel Colac

I had a chicken parmigiana and my husband had chicken schnitzel. They were one of the best we have had. Prices were reasonable, plus there is the choice of a half serve with some of the meals. Chippies were excellent too. Staff were absolutely lovely. Highly recommend this place.

Eating at the pub: I hadn't been here for about two years. It's changed owners or had a complete change. My mum says they got a new chef 6 months ago. What I do know is that it looks and smells much better inside. The staff were very nice and the food is much better (without having a price hike, which is impressive).

It's now the best pub meal in Colac. Could only improve by having a few more choices on the menu.

Great country hospitality and delicious, unpretentious food. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat in the courtyard on a lovely warm evening and our dog was welcomed as well. Highly recommended. We’ll return on our next visit to Colac.

Both myself and my guest had a great time and enjoyed the lunch we had as well. The meals were at great prices and even have great staff at the union hotel as well. they were polite and friendly and helpful as well. plus they have a area for children to play in as well. Plus there's plenty of on street parking as well. Plus not far from the hotel is the local shops and a park with playground and a fountain. plus it's walking distance to the the colac train station as well.

Excellently renovated rooms and ensuites and my double was only $80 a night. Really caring and helpful staff and right in the heart of town, walking distance from the train station and everything else, including the lake. Best pub stay I have had in a decade - definitely recommended.

Used the Takeaway service plenty of choice on the menu. The food always freshly cooked and a good children's menu. Always a nice greeting from the friendly staff

Excellent food and service. We order the seafood platter and porterhouse steak. The dishes were out with 5 mins and the taste of each dish was sentational. The prices were reasonable as well. If you are driving through Colac and feeling hungry make sure you stop here!

Lovely people, great steak and veggies — delicious, and nice amenities like impeccably clean toilets. Very above average country pub!

The staff was great I have two little ones and they made a big mess with dinner. The staff didn't mind having to clean up.our food came out quite quickly with two kids that is great.

Food was great check out the specials for lunch and dinner .
Barmaids were great hospitality and help us with suggestions ,oh yeah the paninni bread toasted with cheese and real bacon pieces on it ohh so yum thanks Union for a great lunch for me and my friends . Slater

We stopped in for lunch before catching the train back to Melbourne after a bike ride. Friendly, helpful staff and all the food was excellent.

Wow, honestly the best feed I have had in a long time I had the Texan Parma absolutely awesome. Greeted at the door friendly efficient service will definately be back

I like the pokies here, haven't really ever tried any of there other facilitys or events, there dress code is good allowing you to wear sunglasses but if you have a cap it must be on backwards, I don't win often but it is still fun to play a little bit when I have some spare money.

Fantastic lunch menu something to suit anyone's taste buds. Staff are friendly and a great family atmosphere
