Dartmoor free camping

Fantastic camping spot on the Glenelg river. Massive grounds with ease of access to the river. Has restrooms, fire places and sheltered areas. Just a short walk to the pub or general store.

Spacious campsite, decent fire-pits, only drop toilets available, swimming area available (for the brave), lovely short walks around the area. Overall, pretty decent free campsite for Victoria. Lots of wild animals black cockatoos, magpies and cookaburras. You can donate for the upkeep at the general store up the road.
When you set-up make sure to really scan the area because some spots have massive ant colonies, each ant was about 2cm big.

Peaceful and relaxing. Great place for a swim, canoeing or fishing. Everywhere in Dartmoor is walking distance.

It's such a wonderful town. It is small, but surprisingly, the amenities are great, clean public toilets. Charging station for electric vehicles🙌🙌🫨🫨, dumping site for your rubbish as well as your human waste, continuous flow of spring mineral water, drop toilet in camping site, hotel and bottle shop too not to mention a decent nursing station if you are not feeling well.

Good spot by the Glenelg River free camping , plenty of room for 8+ vans , lawns nice and green in November and we'll kept.

Close to town, toilets , swimming hole, firepits , picnic tables green grass,

A great free camping spot.. Lots of grassy sites under the trees or in the sun. We had a Koala in a tree 20m from the van. Could have stayed a week here, it was so nice.

Dartmoor is a beautiful town. Clean great people
