A great little place. The staff were great. The food was delicious. The menu is huge. The servings are very generous.

What an excellent little spot by the water! The staff are super friendly and the food was great and really well presented. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my visit. The vegan chicken burger was superb, highly recommend it! Looking forward to the next time I am in the area to stop in again.

Absolutely amazing vegan chicken burger, couldn't believe the quality and how special they made the burger. I was so impressed. It was fresh and made beautifully with a side of chips. I can't wait to come back and try all the other vegan options! Staff and owner were so welcoming and friendly, what an amazing experience for lunch!

Needed a place to have a bite to eat that would be okay to bring our old man dog. The surroundings are lovely. Staff were very friendly and the food was very satisfying. We ended up visiting here twice in the 2 days we were in town.

What an awesome find!! Needed a coffee and lunch, stumbled across the Garden Lake Cafe, and so glad we did. Awesome food, generous serving, and friendly staff. 10/10

Visited at 8.30am 26/8 we were visitors in town and it was our first time at the cafe.

Best ever coffee and Big breakfast, with great presentation, fresh ingredients and very tasty. They have an extensive menu for a small cafe.

This is a great little spot! Beautiful location in the gardens, nice and shady under the tree! The service was lovely, the lady was super nice and friendly! There’s vegan and veggie options, good menu spread!! I had the Eggs Benedict and have to say one of the best I’ve had in a long while! All reasonably priced for a very happy breakky

The team where lovely and friendly, Went above and beyond for my toddler. Beautifully presented hot chocolate with sprinkles and biscuits and there is a nice quiet atmosphere being at the gardens.

Great coffee and view. There are public restrooms beside the café that are well kept and clean. The café staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place smelled delicious.

Got an iced mocha, and it was beautiful - a good amount of whipped cream, chocolate powder. The bottom/coffee was hot and then ice on top, so a little unconventional and you have to stir it to even it out, but it was SO GOOD. thank you to Tim/tom (cashier with T name, I’ve forgotten what it was exactly).

Great work by the crew here. An awesome dog friendly place with great views and an awesome breakfast. Even had dogs water bowls ready

Bowl of chips kinda over priced but would definitely get them again nice and crispy!

Surprisingly good menu, lots of options for vegetarians and a good selection of sweet/savoury. The fish and chips was the highlight for us. Nachos were not so good. We wish we could have had room for dessert as there were some yummy looking cheesecakes on display. Staff were also lovely. Can imagine this would be a great afternoon spot sitting outside under the trees in warmer months

Fantastic VEGAN burgers in ARARAT. I was astounded to find such delicious vegan food that was also well priced.
Great service. Would recommend highly to anyone passing through.

The food, the feeling , the couple who is serving, all of them are outstanding!!! It made our day. We are travelling from Mel to Adelaide via road and this is now a must stop place for us for future!
