Cassinia Camp

Walk in site so not for van or trailer but many of the sites back onto the roped off carpark so you can easily back up and have only a few steps from campfire / tent to vehicle. I preferred this site to other larger ones as they were all rammed full. I think being a walk in put many off which suited us just fine. Long drop toilet was clean but foul smelling and I'm used to using those types of toilets. At time of this review you need to book online and leave a copy on your tent/van/car and it's only $7 per car so best to not be a cheap skate and just buy the ticket.

Great camp in Tolangi forest, Murrundindi Reserve. Awesome for kids with achievable hikes, swimming in the river and safe bike riding for kids, open fires. Have been coming for years, only 1.5 hrs from Melbourne so great for a day trip or even a 1 night stay.

Nice place to stay. Very pretty. Look out for the jack jumper ants though.

Fantastic location with campsites close to a river with well kept dry toilets.

Perfect for first time camping!
