Great little park. Our cabin was nice... spa was great! Awesome views of the river.. in the warmer weather you could go swimming. The park pieces were down to earth lovely people. Saturday nights is pizza night.. you build your own pizza from the vast array of toppings they provide then they cook it for you in the Woodfired oven! It was soooo yummy! Highly recommended staying here. We will definitely be back.

A great caravan park! Dan was very welcoming. Helped us park our van and get set up and gave the kids stuff to keep them occupied. The amenities are great. We used the BBQ area for breakfast and dinner and there’s lots of community appliances (toaster and kettle), utensils, crockery and cutlery to use. Short distance to the water. Toilet block was super clean and tidy and was comfortably warm when the temperature hit zero. The views are magnificent. Will be back!

What a great park this is, so peaceful.

The owners Dan and his wife can not do enough for you.

The shower, and toilet block is so clean, and the water, lovely and hot.

My husband fished, I sat and enjoyed watching and listening to all the birds. So many pelicans come up the river in the evening.

This is a lovely well kept small park, we will return

The park is small and cosy. Well established lawns, fantastic ablution blocks and well equipped camp kitchen. The chairs overlooking the riverbank and pontoons are perfectly placed with amazing views of the river and abundance of pelicans. Quiet and tranquil, it was the perfect place to unwind. Super friendly hosts! We look forward to coming back.

The Big 4 Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park has a new team of managers, Victoria and Dan, who could not do enough for the many visitors. Their attention to detail and ensuring the comfort of their guests was outstanding so much so many campers had extended their time at the Park.

The cabins were spotlessly clean and well provided and the same can be said of what we saw of the campsites.

The park itself is small in comparison to other Big 4's, situated right on the riverfront with great views. It is quiet and relaxing. The camp kitchen is where nearly everyone gathered throughout the day which made it a nice community vibe.

Many sat on the jetties fishing, well competing with the local pelican group. There are plenty of fish to catch and when in season plenty of yabbies.

Kids would have a great time, seeing all the wildlife, plenty of kookaburras, ducks, there are kangaroos that come during the night.

Two riverboats travel up the river Tuesday's and Thursday's passing by the park. One, sorry cannot remember which one actually pulls in for a brief stay and you have to be there for that occasion as Dan makes his world class very fluffy scones, and serves them with cream and jam. They were so great that one couple extended their stay for the following week just so they could have another round of scones :) What I love most about most is the money raised from recycling all the bottles and cans are used to pay for the scones.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and very enjoyable stay then I would recommend the Big 4 Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park but please don' confuse it with the other Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park as unfortunately there is another place with the same name.

Great experience. Stayed 2 nights and were treated like royalty by managers Michael and Lisa. Beautiful location with convenient access for a day trip to Barossa valley. Amenities spotless. Nightly communal fire a winner in colder months. River views, undercover camp kitchen and easy access to lock 1.

Stayed here for one night while passing through. Got a powered site with a tent and the view was amazing!! Saw the river from our tent. The lady at the desk was nice, told us to call if we needed her at any time. We didnt get a chance to use the kitchen unfortunately. The bathrooms were very clean, and showers were good and updated. Lots of room to put your clothes on the benches in the stall. Lovely little town, we will definitely stay here again.

The park was nice and clean. Well maintained and very friendly and helpful caretakers. Lockey and Mandy were excellent hosts, they even cooked some scones for all the park residents which brought everyone together. We all had a good chat and got to know some new people. Well worth a stay for a couple of days.

Lovely, quaint, quiet little caravan park right on the banks of the Murray.
Amenities spotlessly clean. Such friendly & super helpful staff onsite 24/7. Felt like you were part of the family.
Bonfire each night for all to enjoy if that's your thing. We were there for Queens Birthday long weekend & the ladies made scones for all.
It's the little things that count.
Highly recommended for those who want a quieter place to stay.

Management were friendly, professional and had exceptional local area knowledge. Cabins were clean and well maintained and appointed.
Outdoor kitchen was well cleaned with plenty of equipment, fridges, 2 bbq's and a glass stove and hot plate.

The entire site was clean and well maintained.

An absolute pleasure to stay.

The managers were very friendly and did all the little things to make our stay enjoyable. Riverfront area with camp kitchen, bbq's and pontoons for fishing is a great idea. All together a lovely relaxing area.

Small and friendly getaway. Spa cabin was perfect and we hired kayaks which where left out the front for us on arrival. Perfect little budget getaway. Thanks Blanchetown Big4. 🥰

Having a Saturday job in Blanchetown i took the opportunity to stay overnight with my daughters...
We had a great time. Lockey and Mandy have captured their clientele. Many small extra items are just " supplied" like salt n pepper, sauces and paper towel etc. Even marshmallows for my girls...
We enjoyed the fire pit at night, fed the ducks and canoed the river... walked to the Blanchetown Hotel for dinner.
While apprehensive before hand of how small the park was we left very happy/surprised with our stay.
No hesitation to stay again 👍

Fantastic little campground. Stayed one night while cycle touring South Australia. At first I thought $36 was a bit steep for a tent site. But then I discovered that all sites are powered, that I had an ensuite bathroom, the camp kitchen and riverside BBQ areas are fantastic and well equipped with plenty of seating in the BBQ area, and the rec room not only has a comfy couch and big screen TV (I'm not usually a TV at camp person but after a week of cycling into headwinds I was grateful to unwind) and plenty of games (which are beautifully presented to entice you to play). Oh, did I mention the lovely waterfront seating on the turf near the river and the soft grassy tent sites. Put all that together and $36 a night turns out to be excellent value.

The best CV Park we have been to in years. Clean, spacious cabin, extremely well priced, although small, very well set up. Great amenities, views to die for, great staff, met some top park guests. DEFFINATELY coming back. Never said that about any other park. 😁
