I needed some bombproof wheels for my KONA Unit to make it Mawson Trail ready , Kim built me up an awesome set using HOPE hubs and DT Swiss rims and spokes for the ultimate in toughness and still lightweight.
His workmanship is meticulous, his service is like a gentleman, if you appreciate a craftsman and good old honest work , do yourself a favour and visit Kym !!

I have had great difficulty getting good service at the local bike franchise, which shall remain nameless. Suffice to say, I put my electric bike in for a flat tyre to be changed and on both occasions have ended up with a stuffed stand. The stand is not easy to access on the electric bike and takes some time to change. The difference in service between the two? Well Kim replaced the flat tyre and recommended a thorn proof tube - not mentioned by the local franchise. The bike stand was fixed - 50 minutes of work cost me $35 - a quarter of the price quoted by the local franchise which I thought was a bit rich given that the stand was fine before they changed the tyre. Another important aspect of Kim’s service is that it is educational and informative. He explains the mechanics and what he has done. Kim is not only honest and competent but also terrific value for money. Business traits that are difficult to find these days. We will now be using Kim’s service for all our bike needs. Lovely to know you can get a decent job done and not be ripped off. Thank you for your service Kim.

I came to Adelaide for 2 weeks and I got hold of a bike and it was in serious need for a tire pump! Fortunately I was very close to North Adelaide Cycles and Kim very kindly helped me sort this out, he even greased my chain. I jumped on my bike with a big smile on my face, happy to trade walking for cycling and grateful for this encounter 😊

Kim is a legend... He managed to fix my misalignment rear wheel when another (so called) experience bike mechanic told me it's not worth doing it because it will cost me an arm and a leg! I called and offered to check my brake issue while riding past. KIM checked pads etc., and gave me great advice, checked the bike and had me on the way.
Honest and extremely friendly. I would not hesitate to use his service.

Kim saved the day on two counts. Responding to a late evening call he solved my seat post clamp issue. The following early morning repaired DI2 and a frozen headset. Great guy.

Kim is incredibly knowledgeable and actively educates his clients while providing a high level of service both technically and to the customer. I've had both my road and cx bike serviced with him. We were visiting Adelaide and had a gear shifter issue. We dropped by without notice and Kim spent a good amount of time finding the issue and advising as to what to do at no charge. He also gave us some great tips on where to ride in the local area as well as pubs etc.
Great guy and a really good bike mechanic. He would be my mechanic if I lived in Adelaide!

Kim been helping me out for over 10 years now. If you want the best wheels built Kim is the boss. I don't say that lightly either. I've travelled the world and been to many mechanics. I'd put money on it Kim would be in the top 1% of wheel builders.

Kim is willing to help cyclists in need, is knowledgeable and does a great job. He helped out me and two ride buddies with various bike problems during TDU. All at short notice. His responsiveness meant we could continue our ride holiday without disruption.

I needed my mtb wheel trued after putting some decent flat spots in it. I was somewhat skeptical of the results that could be achieved but after speaking to Kim I was satisfied that it would come up.
After a few delays I went to collect the wheel, which was even better than expected.
I was just as impressed that it wasn't in the too hard basket, as the super boost hub didn't fit in his stand but he modified it to suit and made it happen.
Defo recommend.
