Australia Post - Mount Isa Annexe

I’ve found all the delivery drivers and Post Office staff very friendly and professional.
No problems with missing mail either.

The delivery drivers have been good. Always happy and professional.
The beeping gets a bit annoying because you have to hurry to the door and 85% of the time it’s a false alarm and not your house. Lol
Would be nice if they came to the door also.

They ladies in the isa square post office are so so helpful!! Wish I knew one of the ladies name that went above and beyond with customer service, to help me post a fragile item. She was absolutely fantastic and it arrived to the destination in one piece.

Please do not leave my box at my address as i have a dog that had his teeth in the box delivered last week. Lucky thing it was a thick box. I have been trying to send messages on the app NOT to leave anything at the house but it keeps asking me the same question.

Had to make yet another complaint about the overzealous id fiend. Fortunately this time she was told she was wrong. However to get to that point she argued with documentation from her employer and refused to serve me because I had proved her wrong. Then had to waste my time and another employee's time while the complaint was lodged and they actioned the failure to follow procedure. All this because she can't accept that her authority is not absolute. Terrible customer service attitude and etiquette

Parcel was suppose to be returned 6 weeks ago from Mount Isa Anexe. Now I get msg come and get it out of lock box. I'm now in NSW, thus why we wanted it returned. Indian guy on the phone couldn't even ring them to get info. Auspost, no wonder our country is stuffed.

They were asked not to leave parcel unattended at the house if noones home. They give you the option to tick a square if you want to leave a parcel unattended at the property and I did not tick it plus there is instructions In capital letters on parcel do not leave unattended yet they stil leave a parcel Unattended and then despite my first parcel being stolen they left a second parcel at the property.i won't be getting anything until li leave mount isa. You guys are completely unprofessional and downright rude. You know its a high crime area and you do not honour your clients wishes to not leave the parcel unattended and no its not safe to leave it there where it was left

So frustrating! I went downstair when I heard the car beeps then the car leaves as soon as I was outside.

Absolutely hopeless. Can’t even get through to a team member through phone call.

You never leave a card in my mailbox to show attempted delivery! I have been waiting a few days for an item I paid NEXT DAY DELIVERY on that is a crucial part for my aquarium to keep my fish alive, and I finally had enough of waiting for it, so I rang around to track it and what do I find out?! It is sitting at your building waiting for me to pick it up! Please explain to me how the heck I'm supposed to even know its there if no one leaves me a card in my mailbox??? This happens constantly and when my husband or myself goes to try to pick our item up, we get grilled by the staff for not having the attempted delivery card! Maybe, just maybe you should be making your staff actually LEAVE them at the address they tried to deliver to! Not happy!

Very unorganized/rude staff, do not listen to what the customers has to say and I was receiving messages and emails stating I could pick up packages and upon getting there I get told it isent there and wait another day.

Will never be using aus post again when possible.

The older lady that work there is a massive cow. The most horrible human being and she doesn’t deserve to keep her job at the post office.

Delivers to wrong address and leaves packages in full view of public. Packages have been stolen.
