You can look forward to highly experienced advice at Whippets Workshop, the guys there represent Adelaide's grassroots off-road racing scene with active participants in the adventure biking scene working in store as well as pro wheel building and mechanical serving across ALL and EVERY genre of bikes, trikes and kids bikes.

Easy dedicated parking is a bonus, it's also free parking with immediate access to load and unload bikes there. The store is a mini warehouse of parts and accessories which is part and parcel of them having kept well ahead of the supply and demand of a wide variety of great brands for your daily biking wether it's racing commuting or looking for gifts.

Steve and the team at Whippets Workshop are simply the best! Popped in with no warning during the TDU week and they had a quick look at the front brakes on my Curve Grovel TX and quickly identified the problem. These are the guys in Adelaide for anything Curve. Highly recommended!

2 other bike shops failed at sourcing parts and building a bespoke wheelset for me. Chris and Shane are next level. All my bikes will go there in the future. Small independent bike shop. What more could you ask for.

A great bike shop. Helped me out when I had an issue with my flyhub slipping on the way to work. Fitted me in during the day, despite them being busy, and got me out of trouble. All for a very modest fee. This will definitely be my go to bike shop from now on. I highly recommend them.

Stumbled across Whippets Workshop after visiting Luce from Technico coffee services. Checked their Google reviews before speaking with Chris (mechanic) and entrusting him to bring my Trek Madone back to life after sourcing parts from across the globe and an extended period off the bike. A week after drop-off, I was ready to pickup my new wheels. Chris' attention to detail and mechanical ability is second to none. He explained in detail the scope of work performed without rushing me out the door...the price quoted at drop-off was the same at pick-up. Went to the trouble of replacing items that needed replacing (broken circlips in Fulcrum racing freehubs). THANKYOU. Faultless service, open communication & super skilled in every facet!!!

The team here are legends, and by far the best mechanics in Adelaide, with a great range of gear, a really cool shop and a super chilled out vibes. I've always had my Scott Genius 710 serviced here, and Chris has not only fixed the bike multiple times, but each time made it better than new. Highly recommend.

The best bike shop I've been to, I don't have the latest and greatest bike and plenty of shop's won't give me the time of day, but this place is a Mecca for me. No issue is too big or too small. First time I went down I couldn't afford for them to sort out my issue but they were happy to have a look and give me some sound advice despite the fact I'd never spent a cent there. Been going back ever since and they've always been awesome. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Recently had a Lapierre drs aircode 8 built by the team at Whippets. Organising the build through phone calls and emails as I live in Sydney NSW. Outstanding service by Shane and his team, Andrew from Lapierre was also involved in the build suppling the aircode frame set. One small hiccup in the build process that was sorted quickly and professionally overall an outstanding experience resulting in a beautiful bike. Thanks again Shane and Andrew. Regards Mark Goggins

Great advice, friendly and good amount of bike parts and accessories. They fit me in with very short notice and got me out of a pickle by repairing my brakes even though the workshop was jammed. Great stuff guys.

Chris is THE wheel and noise fixing man of Adelaide! He's literally the only mechanic I'll take my bikes to! Plus the range of gear they stock, coupled with friendly service means its a one stop shop for all my biking needs! Thanks fellas!

Of all the local bike shops, Bike Bug definitely offers the best service in Adelaide. Both my bikes get serviced at Bikebug and I’m always super happy with the quality of work. Good prices and range of stock too.

I use a heap of different stores across adelaide. These guys have the most professional/reliable mechanical work I’ve come across. Time after time everything I need is sorted with impressive service. The shop prices are the same as internet prices so theres no cash sacrifice for shopping local, plenty of gear instore, and they seem like a genuine bunch. Definitely far from production line retail. Its appreciated 👊🏼

A helpful crew, who know their stuff. Great advice on bike set-up, maintenance, products etc... The mechanical work I've had done here has always been top notch. Highly recommend.

These guys always sort out and resolve my technical issues with high end mountain bikes. The mechanics know what they are doing. Pretty chilled shop with good beats. Competitive pricing..hidden down Stepney street.
