Our family had the pleasure of enjoying a four hour fishing trip on the estuary at South West Rocks. He certainly knew where the fish are hiding and took us, is a knowledgeable expert who is great with kids and learners. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a great night! South West Rocks Estuary Charters provided us with a skippered BBQ Boat for our end of year event for our business. What a wonderful way to spend the evening. Beautiful scenery, great set up and Matt could not be more accommodating. Everyone had a great time and now I am keen to bring the relatives for an Eco Tour. Thanks Matt.

Simply the best, can't recommended these guys enough! I was down in SWR recently with my two boys (7 &10) and went out with these guys for a charter. Arrived at the jetty to be picked up expecting to find out the charter had been cancelled as it was raining and blowing a gale, wrong! Not only was it not cancelled, Matt and Ted had already been out pumping nippers for bait for the day! Within 10 mins of departing the jetty we were catching fish, and it didn't stop till we got off the boat. Every place we went to Matt and Ted put us on the fish. Not only did we catch a heap of fish Matt and Ted worked non stop looking after us baiting hooks, casting lines, and taking care of caught fish so I could actually do some fishing myself without having to worry about the boys! The boat was extremely stable in the river with room to walk around if needed, they even provided soft drinks! While it rained at times, Matt kept us out of the wind which made the day a lot more enjoyable. This was the best days fishing I've had in a long, long time, one my boys will be talking about for many years to come! I'd give these guys 6 stars if I could, you will NOT find a cheaper, more well run fishing charter than SWR Estuary Charters!

Just enjoyed a great mornings fishing with Matty (the legend). It was a brilliant experience. Caught plenty (enough fish inc a 62cmetery flatty just shy of 3mtrs) even the bait & tackle, drinks where taken care of....awesome! Thanks Matt, we will be back!

Matt was truly amazing, every spot we went to someone got something, he was so good with my two kids and they both got fish it was so good will definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the estuary fishing charter with Matt it was awesome - it was such good value for money and Matt and his Dad were so knowledgeable and such nice guys. We caught heaps of fish and had an excellent time. Would highly recommend you do this fishing tour! You won’t regret it. Hopefully we can come back again soon!

We had an awesome experience on the sunset cruise with Matt. The scenery is stunning. We saw dolphins and lots of pelicans and other beautiful birds. No swimming kangaroos this time so we’ll have to come back! Highly recommend!

Fantastic! We hired a boat for the day and the guys were great, helpful, friendly and professional! They supplied bait, esky, ice etc so we didn't need to worry about a thing! Highly recommended if you're in South West Rocks

Amazing day out fishing with Matt & Ted. Wheelchair accessible boat, all bait & fishing gear supplied along with soft drinks. These guys really know the river, know the local wildlife and we caught heaps of fish. Highly recommend South West Rocks Estuary Charters. Make sure you ask Ted about the bird life.

If you come to southwest rocks and you are looking for a fishing charter Matt is a must trip out, it was awesome, I ended up booking him twice in the week such a great day out, thank you matty will be back to see you for sure. 5 stars all the way

My father was taking me fishing today but ended up getting taken to hospital, Ted and his friend ended up taking us fishing for free because he felt so bad for my father who couldn’t come I had the best day out with my siblings as we never been fishing before Ted showed us the way to fish and gave us complimentary drinks while teaching the history of south west rocks. Thanks Ted for the day

What a great day out on the river with Matt and Ted. Local and fishing knowledge, bird life, a sea turtle, a minion to bait your hook , who could ask for more. . Although we did get more .......Flathead, flounder, trevally, bream whiting, tailor, tarwong an octopus and a stingray . Not all of them came home but we did enjoy a fish dinner. We finished the day with a pod of dolphins entertaining us and left the boat feeling as though we'd been out with friends for the day. Awesome.

We have been out with Matt a couple of times now and we always have the best time and catch a lot of fish! Matt knows all the great spots on the river.

I was in South west rocks last week,I'm from the Outback and fished with these blokes twice last week.you won't find a more fun and professional day out on the water,we fished the mouth of river and then fished various breakwalls and the flats with live bait,Ted really has a red hot crack for you to get that fish of a lifetime,I think it's cheap enough to do two trip's while there( I did and would have went more only I had other commitments)can't fault these blokes,as good as it gets

Fabulous afternoon boat tour on Macleay R. Matt is a terrific guy and wildlife guide. Recommend doing this to everyone.
