Super helpful crew, easy to navigate once you get in. 20 minutes in and out. Makes life easier if you have ID ready to go. Best to use the SMS notifications to make life easier.

The staff here are fantastic. You can tell they work extremely hard as there are minimal staff yet they have managed to juggle both drive through and walk in patients. Patience is key here. We lined up in our car at 6:30am and people were being cut off behind us so I would prepare to arrive early if you wish to be tested here. Same as walk-ins! The opening times have changed as well: 8:30am-12pm. Prepare well if you want to be tested! The wait is admittedly long, but many places are.

Drive-ins have been well managed the three times I’ve been there. Interestingly, I don’t recommend you arrive early - you’ll probably queue for longer as a lot of other people seem to have the same idea. Arriving an hour after opening or later in the day was much quicker in my experience.

Staff were definitely friendlier than you’d expect someone to be after they’ve spent a day shoving things down sick people’s throats. Good professionalism.

Fantastic turnaround time for Covid results and the staff is very helpful. I got tested at 11:45 am today and received the result at 930 pm. I also got a text in the interim that my sample is being processed via text in the arvo. Thank you to the front line workers and the team.

Oh bring your license and Medicare card if you hqve it, but you do NOT need these to get swabbed. Staff here were amazing. Probably cued up for 45 minutes or so, but staff were really kind and even had a sock puppet for swabbing kids which was really beautiful. The staff directing the cars were fantastic and its ran like a well oiled machine. Seriously amazing work.

Went here yesterday and had my whole family tested in a matter of minutes. The nurses were very gentle with my baby when swabbing as well. Got the results at 11am this morning (less than 24hrs).

We started queuing for the clinic at 1:15 PM and had the test around 2:30, so not much worse than driving through Newtown at peak hour. The staff were lovely which made the process a lot less unpleasant than it could have been. Google maps having weird directions made it slightly more stressful so I've attached a screenshot of the map with the queueing direction and entry to the clinic labelled (the side street off Prospect Rd on the map is actually the driveway into the council depot where the clinic is located).

Friendly staff who assist you through the whole process. Basically, it is the location of the Inner West Council Works Depot. Yes, as mentioned by other reviewers, enter from Prospect Rd. and you may see people in hi-vis who will guide you through. Walk-ins are accepted and they are made to sit in a separate bay. I came on a motorbike and one of the representatives told me that I will be treated as a walk-in, that was a good thing to know since I was waiting in the queue on Prospect Rd which was all the way up till Robert St. During my time in the queue, I can say that it was moving quite quickly.

Experience on 9th Jan (Sunday Morning) was outstanding. Well staffed, organised. They are doing QR scans now so it's not paper. Friendly people and the traffic system was well organised and flowed. It helped it wasn't super busy but I was impressed with this set up. Will be going to this one now on for drive throughs. Test result came through just after 24 hours. Long queues as expected but the staff handled everyone with calm efficient positivity. Raphael in particular was incredibly helpful with some technical glitches and made the experience an unexpectedly pleasant one. The staff are doing an incredible job with the current overwhelming demand and uncomfortable circumstances.

I've had to go in for two tests. I live locally so i walked up and they have a separate area for walk in patients. In my experience i was in and out in under 30 minutes both trips. The team doing the testing were lovely. First test took 3 days, 2nd came in the same evening so result times can vary.

If you're going to leave a 1 star google review about how horrible the wait was or how you had to wait 3 days for a test pull your head out of your arse because by doing that you're essentially telling people to avoid this testing station and avoid getting tested. Maybe do something constructive for people like leaving advice for how to get there but whinging about it benefits no one.

Be thankful we have these stations ready and available and there are people willing to test patients every day for COVID during this pandemic. Considering there is a case boom in Sydney right now it's probably not the best idea to scare people off from testing clinics. Things sometimes take time, this is being done for the benefit of the wider community.

So somethings you should know about getting there. If like me, you use google maps, it doesn’t take you to the correct entrance. You need to use the Prospect Rd, not Liverpool road like maps wants you to.
The queue on Prospect Rd does not have traffic control. Try to stay as left as possible to give vehicles not pulling into the test location the opportunity to pass. I saw plenty of irate drivers fly down the wrong side of the road to get past. Stop / Go traffic control would help this situation. There is a security guard, and he’s doing his best, but qualified TC should be in place here.
When you move up the driveway it breaks into 3 lanes. Wait for the staff to advise you which lane. Again, TC would be better placed for this rather than testing staff.
Testing. It is what it is. The wait was close to an hour. The staff are great. Bring ID and Medicare card.
Most of all, be patient.

With a large family I have had 5 trips to this testing station. It’s convenient, the staff are friendly and the queue moves quickly. If you don’t drive, you can walk in. They make testing quick and easy and if you have even the smallest symptoms It’s easy to get in and get tested.

Went there on a Friday mid-day. Probably 5 cars ahead of me, in and out in 10 mins or so, very friendly staff. As one of the pictures shows here, text that number and register yourself to get notified via SMS.

Joined the line of cars on Prospect Rd at Wed 9:40am. Got to clinic driveway around 10:15am. Tested at 11:10am. Staff all helpful.

Tips: I had prepared some jelly snacks & small bottle of water + a podcast to listen to. Don't drink too much, coz you're in the car for 1hr+. Put car handbrake on when you know you'll be still for a while. Once in the clinic, turn engine off when stopped. Reduce the fumes for our health workers. Unsure why our personal info collected on paper, instead of via e.g. HotDocs app that I can fill in prior to attending. Maybe to cater for people who aren't as tech saavy.

PLEASE NOTE: ENTER VIA 7 PROSPECT ROAD SUMMER HILL not the address google maps takes you to. I got there are about 8.15am Saturday morning and there was already a queue but it moved pretty fast once they opened. The staff are helpful and the process was efficient. They gave clear information (on printouts) about what to do next. Go get tested!

I’ve been tested here a few times, and it is always a quick and smooth process. My results usually come within 24 hours.
Also there is QR code for the form so no pen and paper

I cannot recommend this place enough for tests ! Went in unsure and stressed from having to get tested for my international flight in 24 hours and the staff were super helpful, informative, and reassuring. Gave me everything I needed and made me feel at ease!! Will continue to go here for any tests !

I’ve gone here 4 times in the past two months. Each time I’m out in less than 15 minutes and I’ve received my results in less than 24hrs. They’ve also stopped using paper forms and are now using QR codes.
