Springbrook National Park Forest Park picnic area

The only place in the realm of Terra firma that the original Gondwana rainforest still exists. The land behind the repeater station tower at Springbrook which was never logged, contains an ecosystem that's between 228 and 333 million years old.

The Wanderers are the fallen and are simply plasma projections upon the noble gas interfaces. When one gets close to the firmament There is nothing but blackness above and a spherical flat plain below surrounded by a blue ice wall. And one flaming sphere circling around the plane. This is where Yahweh resides as a fiery winged serpent.

One of the best swimming holes and parks on the Gold Coast. City council please finally rebuild the toilets here. It’s been years and this is upstream of the Hinze Dam. I’d prefer not to drink pee…

Love love love Springbrook, a little slice of paradise on earth. Be aware there is no petrol station , and only one convenience store , make sure you stock up on food if staying- as shop has minimal supplies and are quiet overpriced

What a hidden gem! Serene and gorgeous river and swimming hole. We sat on the pebbles on the bank for ages and took in the beauty.

Definitely worth a day where you pack the car and take the kids for the day. Bbqs are wood fired and dont look that well maintained. I took my gas bbq. Really pretty and tranquil spot.

Fresh clean flowing water, beautiful.

Beautiful place. There are many waterfalls and view points to visit, so I’d recommend going there as early as possible. It can also get pretty busy later in the day. Try timing your trip after a few days of rain, the waterfalls would look great then! Have proper hiking shoes and take your time hiking as the surface has plenty of sharp and and loose rocks.

Was a beautiful place just a tad rocky for people who can’t balance that well but overall a good spot to swim

Very quiet and peaceful place to be with your family. Plenty of parking just few meters from the river clean and easy access only missing chairs and tables so if you planning to bring your lunch and enjoy the view while you are eating make sure you bring your blanket

Heaps of great SWIMMING holes. beautiful area.

This is the perfect place for a picnic during a quick trip through the mountains. Has free clean toilets with running water and a great swimming hole. Has tables and chairs with an undercover area. The bbqs are wood fired and you will need to byo wood as it is in a national park. Park is clean and well maintained.

Super great place. Or it used to be until the crack heads destroyed the picnic tables so the council pulled it down. Can't even go swimming anymore cause of broken glass in the water.

The more you go close to nature, the more you get surprised by the creation of God. A night walk in the national Springbrook forest was the most beautiful experience. I felt very fortunate to see the beautiful blue-green lights decorating the ceiling and Rocky overhanges of the forest and caves. These lights were emitted by tiny Glow worms. Glow worms are actually fly larvae which glow in dark areas to attract and catch small insects near where glow worms reside. They are only found in Australia and New Zealand rainforests.

beautiful place for a picnic or day trip, the water is shallow and beautiful in the sun. would highly recommend!

We went to Forest Park to fine it demolished. What a disgrace. Very disappointed. We were here two weeks ago. Put it back. What’s the matter with the people who make these decisions. So very disappointed.
