This is the best value tastiest Vietnamese around. $9.50 for a vermicelli salad or pho which is served promptly with a smile. I was devo'd I couldn't visit when they closed over Xmas but was glad to make it back this past weekend.

Had a simple but flavourful fried rice with chicken and it was very satisfying! Will definitely go back and try more of their food!

Their crispy skin chicken with fried rice is my favourite. Everytime I go there, I always have that 😃

The food is so much better now under the new management. Their shallow and ginger chicken is a must-try. My friends ordered pho and is better than it was used to be. Staff is nice too.
Now can finally get some decent Vietnamese and Cantonese food in the area.
Ps. Have read the negative comments of this shop and am surprised as the one I had was really nice and so worth the price.

This is the best pho I've ever had. I studied on the UQ campus and I would eat lunch here every single time, no exceptions. I would always have pho and it was so good I would order 1.5 bowls of pho (they gave me a special portion just because I used to order it so much; 1 bowl was too little but my stomach couldn't handle 2 bowls). I now live in Melbourne but I still dream of eating the pho here. The owners and people serving here are really nice and accommodating, and the food is such good value for money. I can't wait for border restrictions to lift so I can come back to eat more pho!

More than a decade after first being introduced here, the fried rice is still the best in Brisbane.

Chez Tessa does the simple things well. Great for student budgets and savers alike. My favourite part of the ville.

Not sure if they're the best Viet food around but the best chicken wings rice I've ever tasted. Price is reasonable too, in fact a good price for dining out.

I love this place. The food is very nice, and for the price it is unbelievable. Most meals are under $10 - the same price as most of the fast food around but much better quality food.
