Best specialty coffee in Brisbane. I’ve been drinking their cold press for 10 years and exclusively drinking Revolution Espresso house blend beans at home for 5+ years with stovetop espresso.

Food has gotten amazing past couple of years, particularly the Ritual BaconEgg burger, Blackstar Benedict (Blackstar’s take on eggs Benedict) and a sizeable breakfast (Blackstar’s take on a big breakfast).

Couple of recent new favourites for me - the chilli scrambled eggs with chorizo is epic. Also I have the bacon egg wrap regularly.

Highly recommend for coffee, breakfast, brunch and, most of all, for the beans. If you’re keen to find better beans than what you’re currently drinking then try Revolution Espresso beans. I get them in store although Blackstar also has a great home and work subscription offer which is delivered to your home or office.

Favourite breakfast in Brisbane! As someone who hates spending money going out to eat, I can say that I never regret spending my money here. It’s so rare now days to find a cafe that isn’t stingy and doesn’t have ridiculous prices. Blackstar does classic breakfast done really well with good portions and good coffee. This is exactly what a breakfast spot should be. The staff are always super accommodating and friendly. Please never change Blackstar, you are a rare gem!

We had brunch here. The taste is so good and the portion of all of the food is plenty.
The flavor of the flat white is balanced and outstanding.

Staff were kind, with quick service and long black on single O reasonably priced at $4.70. This was my 3rd coffee in Brisbane and it’s exactly how great coffee taste in Sydney. The mouthfeel was amazing and each sip was bursting with flavour- Very juicy. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future!

Fantastic and trendy cafe, set in a quieter street than surrounding competition. Prompt service, delicious coffee which was I thought the main draw of the place, however, the food was a massive surprise. Absolutely delicious and unexpected. Will not hesitate to go back.

One of the hidden gem in westend. The cold brew coffee is my favourite and must try.
Pork You pine is amazing, will definitely go back for it. Nice and cosy place and pet friendly too.

Great place for breakky. Located on the quieter street which is very nice. The portion of food and the price are reasonable.

Friendly staffs. Both menu I ordered was super tasty n beautiful. I feel they really make food with love. best chef. best coffee. I will absolutely visit again soon with more friends.

The staff are fantastic here, very helpful and friendly. It makes the great coffee experience a very good one. Parking on a Saturday is fairly easy to find, despite the busy location.

I ordered the cold brew concentrate for over the summer holidays. I can’t tell you how awesomely yummmm it is. We add ice cold milk and a dash of maple syrup and it’s perfect! Highly recommended

Amazing smoothie bowl, good ratio of granola to fruit to smoothie. The coffee was very good. The smoothie was light and easy to drink. The only downside was the music in the shop itself was very loud.

Friendly and super helpful baristas helped me choose the right blend of coffee according to my tastes. Locally roasted and nicely located off the main street.

An absolute hidden gem! The coffee is great but the food is exceptional! It’s hard to find a cafe these days that does the basics well, and this place does that and more! We had the eggs benny and the brekkie burger- both were fantastic. And all of the other food we saw coming out looked delicious too. Service was very efficient for a Sunday morning. My only qualm would be the lack of heating on a cold wintry day sitting outdoors. But that won’t stop me coming back to try everything on the menu. Have found a new west end favourite!

Delicious coffee. Sizeable breakfast was amazing - a variety of fresh ingredients with generous portions. Sourdough toast was great, comes with a big knob of butter and delectable jam.

Tucked away on Thomas St West End, you'll find it!! Ordered a large breakfast and it was simply superb, hit all the marks and went one better! Weather a bit damp this morning but you'all can get undercover with a spring in your step. The coffee delivered was also delicious...esp cappuccino, they do take there time preparing orders but it's worth it!! Thankyou Blackstar

Good is not only delicious, but also well presented. Coffee is so good too. A chilled vibe in this cafe. It’ll be my favorite go to place for breakfast!!!
