Straddie Cafe & Bar

Excellent location, Straddie eats is along the main road up towards point look out. It is across the road from the ocean. The meals are well priced and the coffee is great. Service is friendly and prompt.

We’d been here a couple of times over the years and it was always reliable - decent portion sizes, and food was average to good.

However, we went back yesterday and the food has been taken to the next level! Not sure if it’s a new chef or something else, but the eggs Benedict and everything else we had was absolutely outstanding.

The service is also just lovely. Friendly smiling faces and such a warm vibe.

This will be our new cafe of choice on the island!

This is the perfect place to stop for a coffee and muffin before the beach or to get a dine in breakfast or lunch. Nellie made our large group feel super welcome and happily moved tables around to accommodate us. Super friendly staff and amazing food to accompany it. Can’t wait to come back here next time!

It's an incredible place, the atmosphere is great, the attention is incredible, the coffee is one of the best I've ever tasted, the banana cake is delicious, the breakfasts are delicious. Price quality in the perfect balance. Nellie took care of us and she was very kind and understanding. I'm sure we'll be back, I highly recommend it.

The best coffee. Bellisimo!👌 Opens at 6.30 and closes at 2pm. Burgers, shakes, drinks. The best thing about this place is the FAST service. It's as if they know your order before hand 😀

The best place to eat on Stradbroke island, delicious food and amazing coffee. I eat here every time I come to Stradbroke island. Highly recommend trying it out.

The food was so fresh and loved the freshly squeezed orange juice! Everything we had for breakfast was so tasty and fresh. I highly recommend coming here for food.

Had breakfast when it was really busy, and they were still really efficient, menu was great, food on point, pleasant and friendly staff. Came next day and even though not as busy, saw how relaxed but courteous the staff were. Great vibes and great brekkie.

Saturday lunch at Point Lookout. A Thai inspired salad with a nam jim sauce and locally caught prawns. A Reuben sandwich on rye that nailed it. Really reasonably priced excellent service, freshly made and good quality salad and seafood. Great coffee as well. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much to straddie eats for accomodating my self and my wife during our stay this weekend and letting us use the wifi when ever we needed it. The food was perfection and there iced lattes hit the spot each time!! Amazing service and lovely welcoming staff :)

The Southern Fried Chicken Burger was amazing. Service was fast and efficient. Highly recommended and would definitely come here again!

I wanted to eat a whole roast chicken but it was still the breakfast menu but the nice man made me a whole roast chicken anyway because he’s nice and now I’m big and strong.

First time customers and definitely return customers. Food and coffee was freshly made and delicious, meals were huge and prices were reasonable, service was friendly and Chef even came out to ask how our meals were.

Delicious breakfast! We went for the Açai bowl and Nutella Waffles. Really tasty and a convenient location across the street to the beach for a stroll
