Bluewater Harbour Motel

This is a very good motel. My wife and I stayed 4 nights, we would have been happy to stay significantly longer. The big refrigerator was a pleasant surprise and the private courtyard at the rear useful. The rooms are a very good size. The manager/owner, Simon and his staff were excellent. We really enjoyed the pool, long enough for a moderately competent swimmer such as myself to do laps when I felt like it. Simon took over the motel in Dec 2022, before which it already seemed to have very good reviews but Simon is definitely working hard to add even more value wherever possible. The location is short stroll from the shopping centre and the water is for us 74yos an easy walk. We look forward to returning to Bluewater Harbour when we again visit North Queensland. Great accommodations especially for extended stay. rooms are affordable, modern, always clean. Great walking distance to everything you would want. Best motel in bowen!

We stayed with our large family and soon as we arrived we were treated with the highest quality of generosity. If I could give them 6 stars I would. We won't be staying anywhere else but here in the future and will be recommending it to everyone we know. The kids enjoyed every minute and nothing was too much or a inconvenience.

If I could give a 10 star rating I would, Simon took my initial call and booked us in. He was very pleasant and friendly. He told me he was the new owner of 8 days.

When we arrived we were greeted by a very proud Mum and friendly, that's where Simon got his loverly friendly disposition from. Nothing was to much of effort.

Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable.
We will definitely be telling our friends and we will definitely stay here again under Simon's management.

Simon is the new owner of this amazing hotel and as travellers we are yet to experience his level of hospitality and friendliness on the road. My partner and I were looking for a laundromat and asked Simon if it would be okay to use the Motels considering the reviews of the Laundromat in town. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we remained cool on a hot Bowen day. Actions speak louder than words and Simons generosity will stay with us forever!

Absolutely great place to stay , Simon went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable . We definitely were very comfortable and had a great time , had a great time in the pool and awesome bbq to go with it .

My partner and I arrived looking for a room for the night and we were greeted by the owner who was so lovely and welcoming.
The rooms are clean, quiet and very comfortable the shower is lovely and hot. We felt wonderful staying here. Would highly recommend.

The room and bed comfy. Bathroom lovely and clean. Coffee percolator and grounds standard. That's neat.
The staff made me feel very welcome. A few mistakes with booking was met with an apology and
a bonus drink with dinner. So not required as the sorry is good enough. Not like some places I've been...you don't even get that!! Mistakes happen. No biggie. But thank you regardless. My last night of my holiday was exceptional. Food was great too.

We had adjoining rooms which were very spacious. Ours had a queen bed, table and chairs, lounge, full size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Our teenagers in the adjoining room had a queen bed and single bed, bar fridge and microwave. Both rooms had spacious shower and toilet in bathroom. The rooms were clean and tidy and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here one night. The manager was very friendly and hospitable. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and room facilities in excellent condition. Pool was great and the facilities around the pool well maintained. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone. We will definitely be back when we visit Bowen again.

Can’t say much about service as I arrived after hours and left fairly early in the morning. The instructions mailed/texted were clear.
Great to have a 5-point 20A charging point available for EVs, you just need to remember to bring own equipment cables and adapters. Alternatively there’s a Yurika QESH Charger at foreshore with coffee trailer in mornings…. Good coffee BTW!

Great hosts thoughly enjoyed the stay.

We stayed in a Garden View room for two nights. The room is large and clean. The beds (queen and single) are very comfortable, the TV is a 40" LCD model, the refrigerator chilled our food and drinks, and the bathroom is large and was clean. The Saltwater pool is also large and the perfect activity for cooling down at the end of a hot humid day. The Motel is also conveniently located. We recommend the Bluewater Harbour Motel.

Loved the Motel, this is the second time we have been here. The rooms are excellent and always clean. The grounds are clean and the reception friendly. It's possibly getting a little dated - the TV speaker in our room was loose and had a slight rattle to it, there was an iron burn in the carpet. Little things tho. The motel is an easy walk to the beach and waterfront and only about 10 minutes walk to the main strip with various hotels and cafes. It's in a lovely quiet street and the pool is always ready! All told, a good spot and we will return.

Neat comfortable rooms, lots of utensils, cutlery, coffee machine, electric pan, sandwich press, toaster etc provided..Big smart tv in each room as well. The staff were easy to deal with on the phone. Plenty of parking provided. Nice pool and bbq area as well.

Super friendly staff. Amazingly tasty food. The creamy garlic prawns was to die for. Steak cooked to perfection, mushroom sauce was so good. Large serves. Room service. Perfect for corporate stays. Fast internet. The rooms ars spotless, large and very comfortable. I will be back for sure.

Very friendly helpful staff, larger than expected rooms and a really handy location. Food was excellent and massive portions too. Just a couple of blocks from a waterplay on the beach and close to town. All you can ask for
