Good old fashioned pub vibes. All the staff were both knowledgeable and super accommodating. The food hit all the spots and everyone had a great time. The music selection was also great. We couldn't have asked for more as a group of 8 rolling in on a Friday night with no booking.

Turned up for lunch with a group of 15, staff were very friendly, the meals all came out fast, cooked perfect and tasted amazing. From the Pineapple pork belly, the kangaroo, duck breast 😋 👌
Well priced, as the servings command that price. Would highly recommend and will visit again when in this part of the world.

Had a fantastic experience. The staff are very friendly and obviously love what they do. Clear communication and great service. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. It’s the best kangaroo I’ve ever had in my life! Could not recommend this place more. If you come to the Gap, don’t miss out on this place!!!

An accidental find after our first lunch choice was closed. The food was fantastic! Couldn't decide between two mains (duck risotto and calamari) so took the small serve option of both. Others in my group were delighted by their eggplant choice and the special pot pie. Great options and helpful information for my low tolerance gut. Thank you!

The staff are absolutely fantastic. Just came in for a drink - great selection of beers and non alcoholic options for a good price. Would absolutely go back again next time we’re in the Grampians. Highly recommend.

If any of you ever get to Halls Gap. You MUST book a table at the superb eatery. Home cooked, freshly prepared exquisite food. We’ve eaten some fine sometimes expensive food so far, but this food was beyond good. Hot, full of flavour, very well presented. From the greeting to the goodbyes you are treated to a really great experience at a very reasonable price 😊

Carlee and Trav were the most amazing and welcoming hosts. We had a delicious dinner and such a fun time playing pool. This is the best place to have a drink in town

Had a delightful meal here between Christmas & New Year. Couldn't fault the service either during the meal itself or booking (and modifying) the booking in advance. Staff were super-friendly and a delight to be with, which is certainly not always the case. Meal itself was very nice and good value. Would definitely go back again.

We had a meal here with friends. The food was well presented and there was not a chip in sight. The food was excellent. I had the black sesame crusted tofu with miso eggplant. Highly recommend this dish.

We returned here for a meal again after 5years and it was still as good as the first time. The menu is is quite diverse and well priced. Service by Mia was excellent and the atmosphere was brilliant. We were entertained during the meal with lovely guitar music and song by Joy Dobson. Kali and her team do a great job

The parmy was excellent! Generous amount of chips and sizeable house-made schnitzel well arranged on the plate. Cozy dining experience with the fire going. Will definitely return.

Treat yourself to this little gem when you are in Halls Gap. The service is impeccable yet you are made to feel at home. The menu and local wine selection are well priced, delicious .
So think Australian for your next get away. Did I mention the art there?

Food was fabulous. The staff were great... Hospitable, helpful and energetic. Great choice of beers and drinks too. The Hop Nation hazy pale was outstanding. Don't let the outside fool you, it's a great place for meals and a relaxed evening.
Background music was good too, and at a perfect volume to enjoy. All in all a wonderful experience. We'll be back next time we're in town. Well done team. Loved it.

Highly recommended. Great food and service. We enjoyed steak, kangaroo and tiramisu, all cooked and presented spot on. Pub food to a high standard, particularly impressed with the way the roo was done. An Aussie highlight for 65 000 years!

My family and I were worried we were going to miss out on dinner when everywhere else had closed at 7:30pm on a Sunday night in Halls Gap! The lovely owner welcomed us in and we had the best chicken parmas in a great atmosphere. Definitly will be back!

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Foods were really great. We ordered spaghetti prawn and sticky date pudding. Try it and u will never regret!love it. Highly recommended

If you're in Halls Gap and are looking for a decent feed then this is the place to go. Food is delicious, beer is cold and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We’re a group of 24 and dined at the Kookaburra tonight watched from outside by a real kookaburra. We’re on a six day tour and you need to have a Standout Night to make the trip memorable. This was the night !!! Restaurant Quality Food served quickly. My grilled Barra superb. Roo also excellent. Berry Tiramisu presentation classy and taste Yummy.
