Lake Dewar Discovery Camp

We hired this place out for a group family community event. As a guest, cabin camping has not changed. There's cute bunk beds, ensuite per cabin and our meals were provided in the main area. I was never hungry and well fed.

For activities, walking trails were beautiful, their dual flying fox was an amazing activity to challenge one's self (as we were a small group we were able to go twice) they had a big box of sporting gear, table tennis, kayaking and archery they even offered fishing rods for the dads! (But we ran out of time).

Staff we super helpful, patient and worked well especially with changes.

Absolutely awesome! Food is delicious, activities are awesome, sleeping arrangements comfortable and convenient and staff wonderful! I come here with my choir for camp here.

Had a father son weekend here. The accommodation was quite comfortable with a great outlook, the grounds had a really good feel. The vast majority of the staff were fantastic and really enjoyed what they did. Some great activities that really kept the boys engaged. The food was surprisingly very good for camp food. The fishing was sensational, they have really put some effort into the lake - please only catch and release so that it stays this way. I wish I took my mountain bike, the trails aren't technical but would have been great to ride them in my free time.

Had the most awesome day today thanks to everyone at Lake Dewar..thanks so much to Jacob who was our team leader/guide..we did an amazing race which includes heaps of awesome activities including moutain biking, a fun canoe activity and lots of group activities. Our team (Team Insanity) won the day which made it even better...thanks again for an awesome day🤩🤩 Will always remember this day👌🏼

My School took us here for a camp and omg was this place the best camp. It had very cool activities and the best was the flying fox it was the best it had very tasty food and recommend people yo go here if you are looking for adventurous activities. It had everything from archery to stand up paddle boarding.

Was a great experience! Amazing facilities, lots of recreatiobal activities such as: tunneling, swimming and low ropes! Complete with two gorgeous dogs who live on and roam the campus and great staff! :)

My kids have been there for school camp for the last 4 years and I have for our teacher retreats. It is an awesome camp, their facilites and activities are fantastic, but the staff there is what makes it. Highly recommended

I did an event on the grounds and they are large and will most definitely suits school group wanting several activities. The facilities look modern,are impressive and well kept.

This was a school camp. Food was kid friendly. The adults enjoyed it too.

Excellent facilities and natural environment, we stayed there for a Bahaí summer school and really enjoyed our stay. The flying fox was a hit with the kids and adults too.

This camp is really good and I recommend going there!Its great for school camps too!I went there with my school and everyone enjoyed it!!The rooms are very clean and they have no spiders in the bedrooms too!!Great service!!Loved it

The flying Fox was AMAZING. It wasn't that long so I wasn't scared. Last year I canceled camp because the Flying Fox was going of a cliff!
