We are travelling and came across this place since they were one of the very few who are dog friendly 🤩 The staff gave our dog a treat and he was a very picky eater but loved it. The food and ambience was amazing!!! Highly recommend. They deserve more exposure 😍😍

My boys took me out to this Japanese restaurant and it was the yummiest Japanese food that we have ever had! Staff were amazing and portion sizes were generous. Great pricing. Can’t fault it. 🍱

My family and I absolutely love this place! We always come around 3 because we know they will be open. The food is fresh, delicious and so well priced! If you like sushi this is def the place

I am so glad that we stopped in to try Sushi Planet! It has been some months now and we keep returning weekly to explore the fantastic menu and flavours of the food. I would say that the food portions are larger than other Sushi / Japanese restaurants and the freshness of their ingredients, especially the sashimi, is the best we have eaten! Do yourself a favour and try to get here as soon as you can, and you will find you won’t be eating at the other train / chain sushi bars. Oh and the price is on par if not cheaper than the others too.
Octopus pancakes (Okonomiyaki) and Kingfish Carpaccio are to die for!! A staple for us now. Thank you to Yen for her friendly vibe and also her team for creating fine authentic Japanese food at the right price!

I went with a colleague from the RAH. Pleasantly surprised. Had the lunch special teriyaki beef with extra egg yolk was divine. So filling with seaweed salad side dish and miso complimentary. Owner was delightful. Would come again. Colleague had sushi rolls which were double the size of the ones he normally gets in the hospital food court.

First time visitor and I must say very impressive. Food was delicious and not smothered in sauce to allow you to appreciate the quality of the food presented. Restaurant was very clean and beautifully presented. staff were lovely and helpful.

It's a really good Japanese restaurant. The environment, food and service are quite fine. The staff is very friendly and caring. I personally especially like Sushi, Sashimi, Teriyaki Beef Don, Miso Soup and Seaweed Salad, etc. One hour of free parking is provided for customers behind the restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have been to sushi planet many times and have always had a good experience! The food is always fresh and delicious! Comes out quick! Once you’ve had sushi planet you can’t go back to sushi train 😆

Excellent and fresh sushi that melts in your mouth. Mocktails are a great addition but may not be available if a cocktail waiter is not on during the quiet hours when we attended.

The first thing that hits you is the wonderful aroma when you walk in the door followed closely by a friendly greeting and being ushered to your well set out table. There is SOOO much to choose from in the menu, each with a photo, description and traditional Japanese name.
Great drinks selection and mock/cocktail list.
The food is some of the best Japanese I've ever tried, very well presented and DELICIOUS!!
Very reasonably priced, great atmosphete, fast, friendly service, and genuinely seemed appreciative of you dining in their establishment.

Wow, this is easily the best Japanese food I’ve ever eaten in Adelaide, maybe even in the whole of Australia!!

We had seafood tempura, numerous sushi rolls, miso soup and some others, and every dish was so fresh and tasty. Especially the sashimi, it was the freshest sashimi I’ve ever had.

Besides the food, the service was also incredible. So friendly and accomodating for our requests (we needed some help asking about different rolls).

What an amazing experience, thanks Yen for the awesome service and such fresh food!

Great food and atmosphere and excellent customer service. We ordered okonomiyaki (scallops filling), soft shell crab roll, beef teriyaki don and karrage chicken udon in dashi broth.

The dashi broth was a burst of umami and pickled quail eggs were surprisingly pleasant touch.
The okonomiyaki was perfect- crisp exterior with a soft creamy interior and the bonito flakes added an extra layer of umami and crunch. The teriyaki don came with starters of miso soup and seaweed salad.

The food was great, no doubt, but it's the excellent customer service that will bring me back. I had questions about the meat source and they pleasantly complied and even went the extra step to provide me with the details of the supplier.

Some finest Japanese food... loved everything about this amazing meal.

Partner has some of the best Sushi she has ever had
Staff accounted for my Seafood allergies and had delicious Beef and Chicken dishes. Beef Tataki was both of our favourites.

Had a Strawberry Daiquiri that was well made and tasted great too

I had tamagoyaki niguri, inari nigiri, and large tempura vegetable roll. All were delicious and the best sushi I have ever had. I will be coming back.

As always, nice food. Delicious and fresh. Best udon ever. Service always good.
