The lake is full of water, the lawn lush green and mowed up to the sandy shore. The Milang Foreshore Reserve looks great and has all the facilities you need. There are muddy wetlands and marshes on both sides for contrast.

This is a beautiful medow by Lake Alexandrina. It's about an hour's drive from Adelaide City. A great place for fishing, BBQ, and picnics.

Lovely boardwalk around the wetlands with a birdhive for the enthusiasts. A walk that takes you back in time with billboards to read of the historical era when the Port was used for trading. Take a look at the relics and enjoy a peace picnic down on the foreshore.

Fantastic place I remember when it had no water. Love walking along the jetty. Great place for family picnics.

Wonderful recreation area right next to the lake. Has BBQ's and toilets and lovely picnic areas.

It's a great spot with a gently sloping shore for kids to safely swim in.
