Salty Plum Social

This is our second time joining Salty Plum on a walking bar tour and we just LOVED it! We discovered new things about our hometown Broome, laughed, ate & drank with great company! Chris’ historical knowledge of this town was exceptional. Robyn’s hospitality was wonderful. Would highly recommend this experience to both visitors and locals. Such a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Broome. Thanks guys! Already planning our next tour with you for our social catch up with friends.

Saw Chris taking a group around Chinatown and thought that looks good. Got the details from the Tourist Info and booked in. What a great experience. Chris and Robyn provided a really enjoyable evening. Chris provided the history of Broome which we would not have otherwise got. Much of it was fascinating.
Robyn made the non-walking stops work for the group. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. If you are in Broome make an evening available to do the Small Bar Walking Tour. You won't regret it.

We arrived in Broome at 2:00 and by 4:15 were exploring the sites and sights via the fabulous small bar tour with Chris and Robyn. We were a small group and Chris ensured everybody was at ease. Three bar stops, some we would not have found, with plenty of food and a plethora of great stories of the history of Broome. The best start we could have had to our holiday.

Great art tour. I walked most of it the previous day on my own and missed so much detail. Very glad we did this. Great fun and great stories with Chris

What a beautiful and informative Big Art Tour. I have learned so much about the history of this gorgeous town, through beautiful public art. Yummy breakfast was a bonus. I’ll definitely be back for the other tours.

Absolutely loved the value for money informative history talk and walk of beautiful Broome on a warm night. Chris and Robyn seamlessly showed us the best Broome WA had to offer of food, drinks accompanied by a small fun group. Chris and Robyn made our experience their priority. We lived in Broome 20 years ago and I thought I knew quite a lot about its history, but this tour was amazing. Chris is so engaging and passionate about Broome and his talks full of humour. Food and drinks were great and lots of time to chat to fellow walkers to find out their stories. Highly recommended.

We were a little hesitant as we are not keen on group tours but this was really exceptional. Just a small group of us and Chris and Robyn are so delightful and so full of information on the history of Broome.

It was great fun with 3 stops for drinks and food (all delicious) and a wonderful walking tour of the town with Chris' exceptional knowledge making the place come alive for us.

Don't miss it if visiting Broome. Great fun, great company, lots of laughs and you can stop wondering what the messages on the benches mean or the paintings on the lamp posts! We would do it again :)

I do love walking tours with stops for samples of local food and drink, especially when guided by passionate locals.

What an amazing walking tour. Chis and Robyn were the best. Such a wonderful history of Broome told by Chris as we walked around. We could have never learnt so much just on our own. The drinks and food along the the way was an added bonus. We had a wonderful afternoon/night.

As a new resident to town I took this tour to 1, learn a bit more about my new home and 2, to find what I will recommend my inevitable visitors to do.
My friend and I had a wonderful time and as someone who loves history I loved to learn about Chinatown in Broome and this tour highlights some of the great revitalisation projects of the area.
The hosts 'Christopher Robin' :) were also great with their local knowledge and obviously love of the town.

Our group of 7 joined the Salty Plum Small Bar Walking Tour last night. Couldn't recommend the tour highly enough. Only a short walk between the 3 venues and an excellent, informative and interactive commentary by Chris while Robyn ensured our many needs were catered for, both delivering their services with that lovely tropical Broome easiness and care. It might seem a little expensive at $89pp but we definitely all felt it was worth every penny. And for the record, I have no affiliation with them, it's just so good I felt I should share my positive experience (which all agreed).

A really different way to spend a evening, loved it..Broome is steeped in history. It's so great to learn through looking as you walked and the story telling ... Terrific hosts and food is yummy at the different places that were arranged on the way..Just put plenty of Deet on for sandflies, before arriving...but if you forget there is spray on offer...but best to be meticulous before hand... :)

An absolutely wonderful experience! Got to explore the streets of Broome whilst learning about the history and also have some great snacks and drinks along the way. Lovely social aspect to it too. Highly recommend this tour!
