McLaren Vale Hotel

Had a very delicious lunch at The Vale Hotel. The renovations look great. We had 2 of the daily menu specials, the barramundi, and the beef. Both meals were very flavoursome and a good size serve. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our seating request. Would definitely suggest you visit. We can highly recommend this establishment. Thank you.

Food was delicious! Had the eye fillet steak and it was perfectly cooked. Good size and yummy sides with it too. Food was quick even though they were busy. Atmosphere is great and the place looks and feels fantastic. Great family vibe too.

Wonderful! Generous servings and delicious. A must do if you a visiting Adelaide.

Affogato was incredible!! Quality ice cream
And great coffee blend! Highly recommend. Didn’t rate higher for service as my friends coffee was spilt when they brought it out, quite significantly and all they did was give him some napkins and she stated “sorry I’m not good at carrying coffees” but other than that good service and nice atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious wine and food!! We had the nomad chicken, fish and chips (crumbed mullet),Massaman beef curry and the snapper special accompanied by a delightful McLaren Vale Shiraz and a fresh Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc!! We didn’t have enough room for dessert, but the dessert menu looks equally inviting. Lovely ambience for a weekday lunchtime, and the staff were extremely energetic and friendly. Shame we’re travelling as this place would easily become a ‘local’. If we get back to Adelaide this restaurant is hands-down a ‘do again’!!!!!!!!

Really good pub food. I had the beef parmigiana and it was amazing. They also have a decent selection of drinks, but not so many beers on the tap as the place is undergoing a renovation. There's plenty of wine options though. They also have live music on weekends.

We have bought friends, family, our kids or just ourselves to the hotel for both lunches and dinners. Every time the food has been tasty and good sized portions. The staff have always been friendly and helpful regardless of how busy it is. There is a great selection of tap beers, wines and spirits and the atmosphere is very inviting.

Definitely happy to recommend to others and we will return more than once.

This is such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, all the staff are helpful and polite and cater to all your needs, the seating has quiet the view depending on where you sit, meals are quick and taste as amazing as they look! Definitely a 10/10

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Kingfish sashimi with green papaya salad it was the best I have ever had and there was a lot of it. Hubby had the waygu steak really well cooked and smoky barbecue flavour. The dumplings, barramundi and chicken schnitzel were all delicious. We were outside where it had a lovely atmosphere. Inside there were 2 large groups so very noisy but we were happy outside. The staff were very friendly,professional and attentive especially considering how busy they were. Love it and will be back very soon.

The recent renovations have taken this lovely old pub to a whole new level! The outdoor dining is fantastic, great atmosphere & all our meals were absolutely delicious & generous portions. Please put the crispy skinned barramundi with chorizo crumb special on the regular menu, it was one of the best fish dishes I've ever eaten!

What a brilliant place to eat! The food is world class, the wait staff are world class and there is a tree your kids can climb without worrying you. Come and enjoy!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the deck. The food was very good, and the staff were attentive. Very nice dining experience.

Fantastic food and just a great place for lunch on the verandah. Some extra fans for hot days wouldn't go astray.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 500g rib eye steak - cooked to perfection. The duck fat potatoes and the veggies - Devine! We also had the 300g sirloin - another melt in your mouth moment. Staff on queue, altogether a delightful early lunch for tow.
