Zen Oasis

Wow, what a hidden gem! I stumbled upon Zen Oasis Restaurant and was blown away by the incredible vegetarian options. As a non-vegetarian, it's not often that I find a vegetarian place that truly impresses, but Zen Oasis exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and creative - I loved every bite!

But what really made our visit special was the stunning garden and play area. After lunch, we strolled through the beautiful gardens, admiring the serene water features and vibrant plants. And then, we discovered the play area - a fantastic space for kids (and adults!) to burn off energy and have fun. Swings, obstacle course and a see-saw it was like a mini paradise!

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. I highly recommend Zen Oasis for a fabulous lunch and a fun afternoon out with family or friends. We can't wait to return!" 5/5 stars!

Much better than the first remission of Yumchaa only. It’s not perfect not as good as a buffet but it’s still pretty good now!

Gorgeous setting an hour and a half drive from Sydney. There is plenty of parking. Beautiful playground as well. The gardens and sculptures are gorgeous, it’s beautiful and lush. They’ve recently renovated. The newly renovated restaurant is very modern and clean. They’ve also got function rooms where are versatile.

We had yum cha here on Christmas day. The food is all handmade so it's worth the price. The dumplings are the best and the deep fried enoki mushrooms are a MUST! All of the dishes are beautifully presented. The sago mango pudding is the best. The service was very friendly and happy.

It's delicious 😋! Came with my sisters and kids. Staffs were very friendly and set up the tables for us. The vegetarian lasagna tastes beautiful! We ordered an extra for takeaway. Thank you Zen Oasis!

I'm not a vegetarian but the food here is amazing that I've eaten here 3 times. Traveling 90km one way for lunch.
I would definitely visit again.

Yesterday, I attended the special opening of the original restaurant and had their buffet menu that is no longer available in the new restaurant as it was retired during covid. The original, rustic, cabin-like restaurant is a venue that holds a very special place in the heart of my family and we have missed it dearly. Right from the arrival, we could feel the heart and community at Zen Oasis that once flourished pre-pandemic. There was joy and excitement amongst the customers and I imagine many felt the same way my family did, like we were returning home after not being able to for many years. The food was absolutely spot on! Offering a large variety of flavourful dishes reminiscent of what the restaurant used to be. Their service was amazing, fast, thoughtful and detailed, just as it once was. Being in the original restaurant location offers a different type of ambience, an inviting yet cosy environment which I'm sure was what initially attracted many customers here and it was a great experience to be dining there again. I want to give a massive thank you to the team that made this happen, thank you for your hard work in planning these special openings, myself and many, many more deeply appreciated your efforts and I hope to come back here many more times in future!! 🥰❤

Had an amazing experience at Zen Oasis. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. As a vegetarian I usually don’t get many food options at other restaurants, but here there are so many variations of delicious vegan dishes. Highly recommend this place!

It's a bit far from Sydney but we have been back three times. Juat try everything! The salads are very fresh and the teas are good. I really like the sushi and deep fried entrees. Also go for a walk around the gardens

Nice food, and it is getting better each time I came back here. Booking is needed so no waiting. Keeping 4 kids happy. Variety was okay because I couldn't taste all of them before I was full, dirty plates collected fast before you get new one for next meal, very friendly. You cannot go wrong coming here.

Booked for a friends birthday lunch. Loved the variety of food offered at the buffet - there really was something for everyone. The fried sweet potato was amazing. The place was full and everyone enjoyed the experience. Fantastic warm fire and perfect for an autumn day. We also loved being able to enjoy the sculptures and walking around the garden and taking fun pictures outside. No one went home hungry. Loved the sms to confirm the day prior. Very organised and great value for money.

I can't fault the food. The taste, the variety, the look.... All 5 Stars. There's also a nice and big garden with sculptures to enjoy after the meal.
However, I have to said there're odd things about this restaurant. 1st, there's a 500m gravel road to drive before reaching the restaurant. 2nd, the parking spots are on a gravel road too, and in quite a poor condition, with some huge dips and cracks. 3rd, only one seating per day, and only open on weekends....
Anyway, still a 5 Stars restaurant, and will definitely come back :)

It's so glad to see the restaurant re opens. So many new things to see. Great landscape, native plants garden, kids play ground, extended walk pathway, new decking & pergola with fabulous lake view. My Mom loves the tofu particularly, we took three dishes. Nice smoothie and ice chocolate 😋! As expected there was long queue "full house" but worth the wait 😌! The yum cha taste really fresh! Coming back next week on weekday to try out Cafe! Hope it will be amazing too!

I have been to Zen Oasis twice and have been amazed each time by the amazing food, scenery and friendliness of staff. As a vegetarian it can be hard to find good food, but the food here is phenomenal. Thank you!! I will definitely be back.

They recently catered for one of my friend’s events and i must say they’re quite good. Food is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The outside yard has heaps of spaces for any events.

If one is thinking of holding an event with a vegan menu, look no further!

Today we went out of our comfort zone and immersed ourselves in a full vegetarian meal at Zen Oasis Medway - wow what an enjoyable experience it was👏the atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing, the staff were so lovely to deal with, and the food was amazing. Thank you for making our first visit (many more to come) so memorable💖

In Feb 2014, our whole family was invited to this place. I was being puzzled the facts that out of no where, who on earth is driving all the way to have vegetarian foods here. After the meal and walk around the restaurant, I felt the serene vibe and zen touch and now we always drive to Zen Oasis to relax ourselves. Enjoyed the road trip, satisfied with the whole-hearted well prepared vegetarian foods and desserts. Not just happy, I felt peacefully and ZEN.
