Lazy Oak Wines

We had a lovely relaxing lite lunch with a bottle of beautiful Lazy Oak Reisling (and spent a bit of time with the lovely vineyard kitty cats 🐈).
Paula (as always), was the perfect hostess, providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
We recommend a visit to Lazy Oak.

We decided we would do 4 wineries during our stay at Mudgee because we had our toddler with us.

Lazy Oak Winery is famous for their white merlot and friendly service, so we stopped by. Happy we did!

The lady at the front counter was approachable and catered to our needs. We wanted to try a few wines instead of doing the entire wine tasting, and she accommodated this with no issues.

We loved their white merlot and would highly recommend it. Crisp and light, so beautiful on the palette, way too easy to drink! We purchased a few bottles to add to our wine collection, which entitled us to a 10% discount. So excited to pop them open in Sydney.

The lady serving us was genuinely nice and was more than happy to engage in conversation. Having a little laugh here and there is always nice!

We were fortunate to visit here as part of our wine tour and as it was an early start we were treated to a breakfast which was delicious. Wine with Breakfast - only in Mudgee. Hearing Paula's story as to how they become involved in making wine was very interesting. Beautiful location and friendly.

This was my favourite winery in the whole of Mudgee, amazing staff, great play area for kids with a swing, blocks and toddler games. The staff created a vegetarian lunch grazing box on our request which was very impressive and the portions were huge, we ate to our hearts content and then packed some for home.

Lazy Oak wines is a great tasting experience! Relaxed, welcoming and spacious. Plenty of space for the kiddies to run around while the adults enjoy some lovely wine and a delicious grazing box! I loved every wine on the list. Will definitely be back.

Lazy Oak Wines is our new favourite place in Mudgee! This is the spot to go for a down-to earth, laid back version of wine tasting and grazing.

The owner Paula was friendly, and easy to chat with. The grounds are spectacular and there are heaps of cozy, shady spots to relax in. The views of the valley make you feel like you're in a whole other world.

You can tell from the first words with Paula that she loves what she does, and I so admire how she and her husband took the leap into their new adventure of running a winery.

Tasty wine, unique varieties, delicious grazing box... And a visit from the resident Guinea fowl :) made this a really enjoyable afternoon for us. Thank you Paula and David!

My wife and I visited this winery about a month ago and were loved it. The setting is beautiful, the host was very friendly and we liked the wines that we tasted. Last night we cracked open the case of wine that we bought home from here and we are so glad that we have found this little gem of a place. It is well worth driving a little further out of Mudgee to visit, you won't be disappointed!

lazy Oaks Winery hosted by David and Paula was excellent. All their wines are outstanding and reasonably priced. The grazing box was a hit with fantastic views of the countryside.

Came to Lazy Oak by chance and so glad we did. Not only did we come home with 3 lovely bottles of wine, we also had a great experience, chatting with Paula and hearing all about her families journey with their property and wines.
We'll be back again when we are hungry to have a grazing platter with some delicious wine!

It is always great experience at the Lazy Oak Cellar Door, with such amazing, attentive hosts. The wine and food are pleasing to the taste along with the amazing view. Sadly on one of my visits It was a super windy day and looked like rain. Would have been a nicer if we could have taken the day indoors. Paula mentioned her wish to renovate inside so we can come in any weather! Can't wait to see what she does with that amazing space.

My partner and I had a great afternoon and great photos with Paula (One of the owners). We did a wine tasting from Lazy Oak Wines with had a range from red, wine, sparkling and dessert wines which resulted in many Sparkling Moscato purchases. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Paula and keep doing what you're doing :)

So, we noticed the wine label first and thought let’s head out and check this out. So so glad we did. We were spoilt at the cellar door by Karen. Fortunate enough to be the only tasters at the time so we had her all to ourselves. The two hours just flew by. We enjoyed a lovely tasting and came home with a beautiful Shiraz, white Merlot and the Winemakers Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. A superb experience!

What can I say, nice people, great wine, beautiful views and just a great place to relax and enjoy the best Mudgee has to offer. We will be back!
