Burnbrae Wines

Being a wedding photographer and working at Burnbrae often, I knew I needed to get married here!
We chose Burnbrae, Not just because of their incredible wine and beer but because of the versatility. We really envisioned a wedding that was fully outside under the fairy lights and they didn’t disappoint! The fact that it also has an amazing wet weather option really made our decision final.
Dotty and the Burnbrae team were amazing to work with and made our wedding so much fun.
Nothing was ever an issue for Dotty and she was so helpful in every aspect of our day.
She literally made our wedding dreams come to life. All of our guests are still talking about how good the day was. We are so glad to have booked Burnbrae and it will always have a special place in our hearts.

Beautifully rustic with a vine draped balcony area, clustered outdoor garden seating on lush grass and a relaxed atmosphere. Platter board or easy to eat pizzas. The Rose was delicious. Perfect for a slow afternoon with your partner or a group of friends. Ample car parking on site.

Had a fabulous platter filled with local delights to accompany a lunch-time wine tasting. The young female manageress was extremely attentive, friendly and informative! Excellent service! And the wines were great too! A must visit when in Mudgee.

First time to Burnbrae yesterday.
We met with Loz who poured and put up with our jokes and Andy who was a wealth of information and good humour , both of which were super friendly and knowledgeable .
We were offered a really lovely selection to sample of both wine and beer and had few good laughs as well . We ended up walking away with a few bottles not even on the tasting menu yet which we will enjoy when we get back to Sydney.

One of Mudgee’s finest and coziest wineries. Dotty is the perfect host and makes for such a welcoming experience. Not to mention great tasting platters and wines.

We can't recommend highly enough having your wedding at Burnbrae.
We knew from the moment we got engaged that we wanted to book a venue in Mudgee that "felt like home", as though we were hosting everyone in the comfort and welcome of our own backyard and that is exactly the atmosphere that Dottie, Trine and everyone at Burnbrae gave us from the start.
Our guests haven't stopped raving about how happy the day was, and that is was "so us", which was executed due to the kindness and effort Burnbrae puts into executing the day how you envision it, with the utmost authenticity.

One of the smaller wineries but the service is impeccable. Some really tasty drinks and just a great vibe all round. Cosy and friendly with fair priced wine.

We had a very nice visit, the staff were great to chat with, they explained everything and answered all our questions. We made a decent purchase of wine and they looked after us on price which was nice to see in these tough financial times post Covid. We have had many previous visits there to purchase the wines and our experience is always excellent. We can recommend this place, the staff support and their beautiful selection of excellent wines.

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at Burnbrae and it was simply amazing. The venue, the staff, the finishing touches on everything - it was everything we could have dreamed up, and so much more. We also have had many of our guests sending us messages raving about the space and the wine. Thank you Dotty!!! You are the best event manager in the world!

This winery was by far the best winery we went to during our trip in the Mudgee area. Andy and the team were....awesome! They took the time to talk us through their wines and were extremely friendly. The wine was beautiful, which made it difficult to decide which wines we were taking home.
We've given these guys 5 stars, but would give them more if we could. Honestly I couldn't fault them. I would highly recommend visiting Burnbrae Wines if you're in the Mudgee area.

Burnbrae Wines is the best cellar door experience in Mudgee. The Lucky Find is a standout sparkling.

A great little winery with a casual feel. For a $5 tasting fee you can try all the whites, reds and their special beer they have on offer. The balcony has a beautiful view over the vines and a delicious zuchinni and lemony ricotta pizza to wash it all down. Well done ladies a great experience 👏

Love this winery. Absolutely top of the list, and we went to a heap of f wineries in Mudgee! Loved the wine, definitely will find something you'd like here and well worth the visit. Staff were really lovely and made you feel valued and had a proper conversation with you. 5 stars from me!

Great wine and great food. We shared an antipasto platter that was made up from local produce. The 2 best wines for us were the Moscato and the Merlot. The wine tasting is a must and leads you through the history of the vineyard and what was behind the names of the wines. Great afternoon in the sun and thoroughly recommend.

This is definitely one of the places to visit in Mudgee. Service is impeccable and Andy did a great job of providing an amazing tasting experience. We weren't able to taste the pizza but will endeavour to do some the next time we return to Mudgee. Andy delivers a 5 star experience.

Sunset here is fabulous! You must try the sparkling and the rose, these are certainly the best of the lot. Having said that, the sweets are lovely too, especially with the cheese platter. Definitely one for the first evening in to town. Highly recommended!!! We got there just after 4pm, we were able to get the cheese platter, which is suitable for vegetarians.

We stopped in today for a visit and were extremely well looked after by Katrina who took us through the Burnbrae selection. Our daughter enjoyed a gelato (Eva says hi Katrina!) and playing with Coco the dog. Now travelling back to Qld with a selection of Burnbrae wines to enjoy. Thanks so much for a really enjoyable morning!

Service was impeccable, friendly staff, wines were lovely, and you must taste their 548 Larger very nice beer. We were their on 20/4/21 tracking some of my family history Andy was so accommodating couldn’t do enough went out of his way to make us welcome , would definitely recommend the ‘Clive Gale ‘ and will definitely be returning Andy Delivers a 5 Star experience and it is a must visit winery fantastic vibe 😁
