This place was stunning. There’s quite a steep walk up but is definitely worth it . The artwork is beautiful and the atmosphere is so serene. Def worth a stop if you are in the area

Recommend bringing a 4wd or SUV as the road to access has a few potholes, being a dirt track.

From the parking you should be able to see a picnic bench and steps to go up and follow to get to the handpaintings.

It was great to be able to see these and appreciate the indigenous culture.

My kids were game enough to walk the track - not too far - but need to be able to climb up steps and some uneven terrain with no hand rails.

Wonderful place. Very mystical and serene. Worth a visit if in the area. A very short walk and some steps from the car park. Easily accessible by car if coming via Wolgan road.

Fantastic place. The track in is a bit pot-holed but not too bad. We did it in a sedan. Well worth the short walk in, but there are steps and uneven ground to get to the paintings.

This site is so amazing and easy to get to, about a minute walk and your in another realm. It is ashame that it is not protected more.

Short (and mild) bush-walk to see this place - more appropriately called Maiyingu Marragu. It's easy to see why it was a special place for the original inhabitants; it has an awe-inspiring presence. As a visitor, it has a strong feeling of the continual visits from the aboriginal peoples over millennia.

Road to cave is in good shape and easily negotiable with 2wd. New stairs and picnic area.

As an outsider visiting the region... notwithstanding the fact I know Lithgow quite well from my numerous visits, I was quite surprised to find something else to go see. I actually enjoyed the short little walk up a hill, which is safe and sound with steps.
The cave is quite intriguing complete with Aboriginal hand prints...
I do suggest you visit it...

Just a short walk from the carpark, when you reach the top of the stairs keep going to the left. In a few metres is the stunning rock wall overhang. There are many prints. They do look faded but clearly distinguishable. A short walk further is a slow running waterfall.

Road is a bit gnarly for normal cars the further you go up it.

The cave was great, didn't really have any signage to say where to go to find it but figured it out.

Walk up the steps, be cautious once you reach the top of them as there's a lot of loose dirt, you'll have to follow path along the left of the rocks and you'll reach the cave.

Very interesting historic aboriginal artwork and a pleasant walk to see it. There were a variety of birds in the area and we even saw tadpoles in a rockpool!

Fantastic place with Aboriginal hands on towering rock overhang. So many visiting now we are in danger of damaging the site by selfishly, carelessly trampling the vegetation and widening the path. Please respect this and other fabulous iconic rock sites in the surrounds.

Was well worth a look, it's in a lovely spot and the hands are still very visible.

Hand paintings hardly visible, but a good location though. Not recommended for a sedan to drive in these roads.
