Quiet and calm shop owner was very knowledgeable and patient, great prices were further discounted and all his advice was really good. A perfect temperament for my shy but interested son too. I dont know what that other bad review was on about - I was very happy, and we are going back today for him to monitor our water quality.

I am shocked at the 2 poor reviews. My experience was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble ! He spent considerable time and effort helping choose my fish and plants, demonstrated how to put the filter together and made it up for me and even gave me some free food and knocked the price off some rocks. I found him to be a shy but deeply sincere and kind person who opened up when I expressed an interest in what he had to say about fish (which is he clearly holds a genuine passion for) and I'm going back today to get more fish and to set up another tank I was so pleased with the results. I would suggest that the anonymous person who complained that "customer relations terrible" may need to brush up on his skills of being a friendly customer.I encountered no difficulty at all and I enjoyed my experience there.

Absolutely fantastic service and a genuine care for the wellbeing of the animals. The store has been completely re-set up and looks beautiful. The owner here really helped us out with a failed filter purchased at another store on Bellambi Lane where they were not interested in assisting whatsoever. This guy at Clearwater was straight away all about the welfare of the fish and took apart his filter he had for sale; to give us the replacement part we needed. Absolutely blown away. All our purchases will be at this store from now on; and we highly recommend it. Thank you : )

The man in the shop was very helpful. I had a problem with cleaning my classroom fish tank. He recommended me a non-expensive product that works a treat. Never tried to up-sell me anything extra I didn't need (as other pet stores have). I am new to owning fish, so it was very reassuring that he didn't take advantage of that and gave quality information about keeping goldfish. He even lent me a DVD to watch with my students about how to care for your goldfish. I will definitely go there now for all my aquatic fish needs.

My little grandson loved it. He chose 2 more little goldfish and some weed and brought home to put in my tank. The man was really helpful. We have bought a tankful of fish and weed over the past 2 years.
