Epping Aquatic and Leisure Centre

First time here after moving nearby. Outdoor 50m pool is clean. Only 6 lanes but wasnt too busy in the evening for lap swimming and checked lane availability before heading there. Plenty of parking but I can see there would be accessibility issues due to steep ramp and stairs for accessing female showers. No lockers but seems safe enough as you can see where your belongings are and there are at least two staff patrolling. Showers and toilets are dated but clean. Will definitely be coming here more often until the redevelopment commences

incredible spot, a stunning piece of public amenity - gorgeous native vegetation surrounds, a lovely sized and extremely clean pool. Entirely inaccessible however it is not too busy + parking is plentiful - a gem of the (semi) west

Great swimming centre with a small pool for kids and another one specifically for toddlers. Great shower facilities.
Would've been better if the swimming area was covered as it's hard to swim on sunny hot days.
But great friendly staff and watch guard is always on duty.

Went on a Saturday arvo. Plenty of parking and not at all crowded - got a lane to myself. At the moment, only the 50m pool is open, so it’s great if you are here to swim laps. Entry for an adult is $7.15. Change and toilet facilities on the old side but perfectly adequate.

Loved it. It wasn't busy. There was place to sit comfortably. Shade under the trees by the kids pool. Facilities were clean. Kiosk well stocked and to entain the family for the afternoon was very well priced. Umbrellas and reciliners on first come first serve. So happy to have finally been there.

Great pool that's tucked away in the tranquil bushland of Epping.
Older but well maintained facilities and really friendly staff.

Clean, inexpensive and a moderate walk from Epping station.

Was very quiet when I was there but I'm.told can be very busy in summer months.

Went for a swim here today. This a lovely place in a beautiful area.

Such a great pool, especially for families with little ones. We love it. Beats the overcrowded indoor pools any day.

A very old pool nestled in bushland. It's great to be surrounded by the bush whilst swimming. Getting back to nature, with a nesting sparrow hawk close over head.

Just a heads up:
Not family friendly no lift or ramps here, but wouldn't change it. Happy to struggle with the kids and pram to enjoy this beautiful place.

Packed today - 28°C on a Saturday as lockdown restrictions ease - but the staff communicated really well with people in the queue and it moved swiftly.
If you are coming for the afternoon session, I would suggest arriving after 3pm and there was a queue when they opened at 2pm.

You wouldn't know this glorious pool existed unless you were told. Hidden in Dense Park, this pool is one of the most tranquil i've been too. Gone are the sounds and views of cars and traffic, instead look up and enjoy the giant gum trees and birds flying over head. The fresh water is always clean and the pool area is super clean. Definitely worth a visit if you're a keen swimmer.

A great place to swim, the location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

The guys are awesome. The pool can get a bit cold. Not very convinent for the disabled. You have to walk down a very steep hill after parking your car

My husband and I go to this aquatic centre for swimming. During winter, they have warm water inside the pool, which is just awesome.

The rates for casual visits are also pretty reasonable.

Great pool All reviews true. Like many others I've been going there since I was a kid, although living in the NT these days.
Recently heard council want to sell it and turn it into appartments. Stopped by residents who realise the future value of this asset for the municipality. Not now but for their kids. Good on them!

Great local pool - my kids have been coming here for their swimming carnivals for years, and they love the little tuckshop they have there ☺

Great pool, come here every week. There's an outside lane pool and a small indoor one that's mainly for toddlers and young kids. Theres also another pool but that's also for younger kids. Pool is clean and chlorinated but the showers and change rooms were a bit musty and old (cobwebs and dead insects in change rooms, only two showers have hot water).

This place is truly a gem, such a lovely setting. The facilities are good, the pool is a fantastic size and is heated. It is set inside dense park and just beautiful.
