Such wonderful friendly and helpful people who helped us being able to get married without a lot of bureaucratic stuff.

Something like that would never have been possible in Baden-Baden Germany where I come from. They wanted a ridiculous amount of documents from my husband and wanted us to have everything translated and shipped to the registry in Baden-Baden, only to get a certificate for me that proved my marital status, which was already visible on other documents. And we didn't even want to marry THERE!

The employees at the registry in Brisbane were so kind and helpful and they only needed documents both of us already possessed.

I'm more than grateful for this, especially as an autistic couple it saved us so much time and nerves.

Also the view from the 32th floor is absolutely amazing and the elevator is super fast!

We married at the registry yesterday on 04/04/24 and the ceremony room is just wonderful with the floral decorations.

The panoramic view from the 32th floor is amazing and our celebrant was so kind.

I'm glad we were able to celebrate the most important (and happiest) day of our lives there.

From a photographer's perspective the registry is the perfect spot for those looking to have a low key wedding ceremony. The ceremony area is modern and photographs beautifully. The staff and celebrants are extremely friendly and always run everything smoothly. There's also a lot of areas for photos along the city streets nearby. If you're after a quick and easy ceremony, the registry is the place to go.

I was only a guest for a wedding there.
But I was surprised and impressed with how lovely the venue is for a ceremony.
Wow. What a view.
I was expecting a dingy bland old office room, what you do get is an impressive view of Brisbane, and a spacious room with plenty of seating.
I’ll never use it as I’m not making that mistake ever again but my friends found it simple enough to organise their wedding there

Visited today with a customer of ours who was tired and frustrated. We were served by lovely Vivian. She was calm, polite and understood our customer well. She went an extra mile to help with the birth certificate. Thanks Vivian for your customer service and staying overtime to get it done. I was not expecting the level of service and support we received. Everyone was so helpful. Thanks again team.

I entered at 8:55 am to get in early. I was served quickly and efficiently by Fa’a and I was out of the building by 8:59. I had planned to be there for about 30 mins to an hour. Great experience

This is an excellent wedding venue. It is very clean, organised and has excellent views with modern decor. I don't know why everyone doesn't book their special day here. We were very pleased and the photos look amazing!

Having photographed a number of weddings here I'd say it's a great option for your ceremony ! Lot's of local photo opportunities too !

We got married here in December. The staff member who scheduled our ceremony was thorough and explained things well, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect on our ceremony date. On the morning of our wedding, the woman at the front desk was extremely kind, patient, understanding of my wife's nervousness... just wonderful service as we filled out our forms and our guests arrived. The celebrant assigned to us was fine, she did her job but didn't show the same extra level of care as the other staff we interacted with.

Aside from staff, they have a beautiful venue with nice decorations and views of the city. It's easy to park at King George Square or use Central Station. The tablet allowing guests to view and interact with the ceremony via Zoom is a very nice feature considering how many couples have distant friends or family. Overall, a great experience and wonderful place to get married.

We called into this Registry today for the first time 24/01/24 & the staff member was very helpful in answering any questions we asked + what documents were required to proceed at a later date.

I had the nicest experience ever. I struggled with a few things during my visit. The staff were very kind, helpful and understanding.
I was made to feel welcome and was helped from the time I arrived until I left. Thank you once again Kyla, you are a beautiful soul, I wish you all the best for the rest of your life.

I never go to the city and I got lost for a hour walking streets coz there wasn’t any signage. It be great if there was a sign saying registry etc etc . Would helped , But fantastic service and my sons birth certificate was printed there and then . Definitely 5 stars

Staff are friendly and polite. The whole transaction for a both certificate was surprisingly quick and painless! ... so unlike a gov agency!

The people working at the BDM office are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Once arriving at the office to get a copy of my birth certificate, after completing the forms and paying online, I was walking out in less than 5 minutes with my certificate printed.

The best experience from start to finish. We decided to marry at the office. The staff were so helpful at every step and our ceremony was just beautiful. The room is gorgeous with amazing views and plenty of room for all. Our guests were all amazed that a registry wedding could be so individual and full of love.

I booked our wedding from in the UK. The process was nice and easy… staff were very helpful and knowledgable via email, they sent the invoice across and I made payment ceremony. Our ceremony was lead by a lovely lady called Fa’anape, who was brilliant. She helped us make the most of the options available to us and even chose us the most perfect song to walk down the aisle to… which made our wedding so special. The room was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. The only slight criticism I have is that some of the names and addresses were spelt wrong on our marriage certificate. Other than this, it was a fantastic magical experience! Thankyou :)

My Husband and I had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Brisbane Registry Office. It was simple, yet elegant and relaxing. The staff were helpful at setting everything up for us, and gave us adequate information to ensure the ceremony ran smoothly. The city view was amazing, even on a rainy day and the celebrant was efficient and engaging. The livestreaming service (Zoom) was a bonus and great way to include our friends and family from a far. Overall we had a pleasant experience!

We got married here last Saturday. Celebrant tuaa was really humble and made us feel comfortable. Ambitious here was fabulous.

Not the courtroom wedding I expected when you hear registry office!

My husband (!) and I got married here and had a wonderful experience! The views from the ceremony rooms really can't be beat, and the rooms themselves are well appointed and pretty. The staff are lovely and helped make sure everything went smoothly on the day, including ensuring family/friends could zoom in and watch the ceremony. Zero regrets!
