Over the decades the staff have always been fantastic. Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I say that honestly and sincerely.

Chris, the pharmacist, seemingly the brains of the operation, is razor sharp and knows his stuff.
Always provides me the best advice from his experienced and extensive knowledge.

Everything you need and want from a Pharmacy and more, lots more!

The store is expanding and I believe it will continue to always provide all your pharmaceutical needs plus much, much more. As it has for me over 20yrs

I was blown away by how kind the pharmacy staff were to me, in particular Cass the pharmacist. My doctor made a mistake on my prescription and Cass went out of her way to straighten things out. My deepest thanks for the empathy and good humour that was shown to me throughout the whole process.

A lovely staff member named octavia helped me with some issues i had. She had amazing advice for me and was so kind and helpful.

Thank you for organising vaccinations for myself and mum! Staff here are always friendly and extremely helpful. Mum is very thankful and says it’s always a pleasure coming to the pharmacy.

Chris, Muhammad, Alex (I can't remember everyones name, im sorry) and the entire team are absolutely incredible! I genuinely mean it.
No discrimination, only professional help.
It's amazing to see how they manage busy times. Truly a gem of a pharmacy right in the heart of Canberra, keeping it beating healthy.

I usually don’t leave many reviews but I just had to this time. I wanted to thank the two lovely girls that assisted me tonight. So sorry I don’t know either names but to the woman who was behind the prescriptions counter around 8:30-10pm tonight (13/03/23) and also the female pharmacist working at the same time, your customer service and kindness should not go unappreciated. Thanks to Hamish who helped us with a very important matter last night. Hamish took ownership and called my doctor in the Emergency department and found an alternative solution as the prescribed medicine was not available. Thanks to Hamish who went out of his way and well and above beyond his duty to help us out on a Saturday night. Thanks a lot Hamish.

I took my disabled boy to this Chemist for his booster shot and they were really good. The staff were polite and helpful and helped me re-arrange getting my own booster for a couple of days later through a cancellation list. I had been booked in too but my doctor had advised me to get it done later. These guys helped arrange my new appointment with respect and care.

Personally, I found them consistently helpful everytime I called in for specific inquiries about medications and vaccines. When I had an unusual vaccine inquiry today, Patrick the pharmacist literally called around Canberra to help me obtain the vaccine I need, through a different pharmacy! He really went the extra mile to help and for that I have to leave a 5-star review.

Always friendly staff, good prices, and quick waiting times

I came to the Pharmacy for a booster shot today. The staff were experienced, polite and did an excellent job. I have always been nervous with needles but the injection was done so smoothly that I didn’t know when it was finished. I would recommend anyone who feels nervous about vaccinations to have it done at the Pharmacy on Northbourne. I would have given it a 6 star rating if I can.

The staff here are always so efficient and helpful. Booking my flu jab online was easy, and the administration was quick and painless.

Honestly the best pharmacy in Canberra. Having a chronic illness I have seen several pharmacy's in Canberra and none have treated me as kindly and fairly as this one. Chris, the Head pharmacist, is a lovely guy well deserving the numerous "Pharmacist of the year" awards he has won.
In all truth, if you need an understanding, caring, kind pharmacy, look no further. This IS the Best pharmacy around.

Over the last few years I've had several unmemorable (i.e. adequate to good) experiences in this pharmacy. Today I had an excellent experience with 3 very friendly and capable staff members.

The pharmacy assistant who took my script was thoughtful enough to check straight away if capsules would be okay or if I needed the tablets (which I did).

I had a great chat with the pharmacist about my new medication, he was an excellent listener, sensitive about my privacy and the medication being for anxiety, he explained things in a patient/not-condescending way and was also happy to get into the details of different mechanisms and interactions.

And then the person at the till was also lovely!

Got this blessing sticker on the box of my injections. A heart warming surprise. Thank you so much.

Amazing! Needed a special medication for my wife who was having chemo and had Covid. We rang around everywhere with no lunch. Someone suggested pharmacy at Northbourne and they had it picked it up within an hour.try them if you need paxlovid.

Chris, the owner, is one of the most professional and compassionate pharmasists I've ever met. And I used to chemist shop for painkillers for 7 years straight, going into different chemists EVERY DAY for codiene pills. This was years ago, and in NSW and I'm on a methadone maintained program now, have been for the past 5 years. What I am saying is I've met that many pharmasists it is not funny. Chris is head an shoulders above the average ^_^
I have never had a single issue with this pharmacy, quite the opposite, they remember me by name and always treat me with respect. A rare quality for someone in my position.

Really appreciated the extra effort Pharmacist Kushari went to resolving a need for distilled water. Its hard when you are traveling to always find new sources of medical related products and these folks were very helpful. Thanks
