Jaycar Electronics Wollongong

I've never been to a single Jaycar store that I didn't love. When it comes to good customer service, it literally does not get better than Jaycar. The staff here, as well as the other stores around Wollongong/Sydney, are so incredibly friendly and understanding. The store is always spotless and 9 times out of ten they'll have exactly what you need. Love it!

Good range of electronic wizardry. The staff are very much technologically-inclined rather than salesman-based which is great for technical help. They do lack the customer relations, speediness and efficient checkout that a customer-focused store would have.

We have had the pleasure to deal with this exceptional company many times. We have found all the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help in any way they can, they are to be all commended. My husband was there today, not to buy anything, just some information regarding the setting up of our new PVR, the help he received was fantastic. Other companies could take a leaf out of this company for great customer service.

Sure, some of the stuff could possibly be bought cheaper on-line, but think about:
- You're buying from an Australian company
- You're supporting Aussie employment
- You get to actually touch/measure/use the item before buying
- Jaycar's excellent Return Policy - try returning something to China!

And their staff are really helpful & very knowledgeable.

Quick, knowledgeable service from staff every time I come here. Almost always have what I need in stock when nobody else does. Sure I could get some things a bit cheaper online but you can't beat the convenience of having a physical store and a salesperson who knows the products.

This near new stare is the Best stocked and largest store I have been in. Everyone that works there are very courteous and extremely helpful in assisting me in locating all the stuff needed for my weird projects.Thank you Jaycar for your Great work and locating so close to my home. I've been shopping a Jaycar (different stores over the years) for decades. They have a fantastic array of electronic devices and stock the actual parts. Anything from batteries, lights, solar system parts, cables, convertors, cctv bits, weather stations, all manner of electronic devices I imaginable.

The North Wollongong/fairy meadow store is good. Friendly people. Easy parking out back. Generally have what ever it is one is after in stock.

Awesome shop and staff.
Went in for a small solar panel, cheaper than online.
Came out thinking wow they sell a lot of stuff I didn't realise.
Give them ago and keep the shops open.

I think the gentleman that helped me out todays name was Grant.
Every time I go into jaycar he ends up helping me, and never makes me feel silly for my lack of knowledge and always ends up figuring out what it is that I need.

Went in to get some assistance with my earphones and soldering advice. The team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Great bunch of guys dedicated to helping.
