I have seen Wayne from Fabric hair for at least 2 years now and I have never been disappointed.

Wayne always takes great care, is friendly and his team always look after you when you arrive, from getting your hair washed to getting a refreshing mineral water or hot coffee for you to enjoy while your hair is cut.

I had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back. I came here as I had heard fantastic things about Wayne and his expertise when it came to curly hair. I had never been to a salon or a hairdresser before that didn’t end up blow drying my hair straight and so I really wanted to find a place that knew what they were doing when it came to curly hair and would also help me achieve what I wanted with my hair.

Wayne was this and so much more. The consultation regarding my hair was thorough and he showed a lot of care and finesse in cutting my hair. He walked me through what he wanted to do and ensured I was happy and he asked me what I was hoping to get done as well. Jesse also did a wonderful job washing my hair and Lizzie was fantastic in showing me the best ways to diffuse my curly hair.

Their Aveda products are amazing and with the way Wayne cut my hair, and his recommendations for styling, it feels so much lighter, livelier and fun. I was really really pleasantly surprised with the results and was so happy and I’m so glad my colleague recommended for me to come see him. I would highly recommend him for any curly individuals in the Canberra community. The customer service was excellent and am looking forward to the next time I pop in. Wayne is an excellent cutter and is next level in his understanding of hair types and cuts and what works.
He has an eye for detail in the cuts, but does not make all cuts look the same.
He cuts for the individual face, style and hair type. Perfect!
No pretension about what he does, he is there to service the client, he is extremely focussed on cutting your hair.
He does not chat to other clients or tell you long stories, just a nice level of incidental chat, and discussion about the cut.

Still in love with Fabric hair after 12yrs! They absolutely listen to your desires and take the time to show and explain the hair do in mind and then take the time to teach you to style your own hair if your having troubles.

I've been seeing Wayne since I first moved to Canberra almost 10 years ago now. I keep coming back to him because I can always rely on him to do a high quality haircut that not only looks good straight out of the salon, but also grows out well.
