What a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We thought the end result would look good but it exceeded our expectations. From start to finished the team went above and beyond. From picking the flooring honest and upfront . Advising what I can and can’t do, As I lived 3 hours away they assisted in other way even took delivery of a dishwasher for me and moved it in the garage for me. I was blown away the floor is better than I imagined left the house spotless. It has made such a difference all my friends have commented. They helped us select our flooring and took extra time to help us find a carpet matching one we had seen elsewhere. In addition it was incredibly helpful that they were able to also perform our tile removal, which many others do not.

We came in looking for a very small piece of sheet vinyl for a laundry floor (2 by 2 metre)

The salesperson said that she may have an offcut/end of roll out the back to save us ordering it & sure enough she was able to find the exact amount we needed in the right colour & for a great price.

She even gave us the contact number of an local installer.

We'd visited the other flooring place 200m up the rd minutes before & definitely did not get the same level of service or interest in the our small job as Simons had given us.

My reason to visit post floor laying was to seek advice on cleaning and Floor Mat backing. Nothing is a problem for Bert and his team. They spent time with me, did not force any cleaning products on me to purchase... just gave good old fashion friendly service and advice. Best around the Illawarra if you're after flooring & carpets.

My experience with Simmons Flooring can only be described as excellent. The assessment and quote for a hybrid floating floor happened quickly and efficiently. The installation took place without a hitch, including moving heavy furniture. Aisha from Simons Flooring Xtra provided best of 3 quotes for my new floor. Was looking at parquetry, planks, wood, cork or vinyl roll. Aisha was patient, knowledgable & a lateral thinker. In time, I chose long-board timber-looking vinyl planks as quiet, easy to clean, smart/stylish & softer under foot. Aisha suggested laying over tiles in entry area & kitchen for not much more $ & was delighted the whole apartment was updated. Marty, their floor layer was very careful so the finished floor just looks stunning at a competitive price. Have already referred family & friends to Aisha & her very experienced dad Bert on shop floor. Give them a go!
