Ironside State School

Mr. Perrier and Ms Fairhall were the best teachers there by far, and it was a super chill school with a super chill OSCH foundation. The academia is super flexible and has extension programs for students stronger in respective subjects. There was also quite a lot of sports programs and it was a super good primary school I went to. Too bad I am stuck in the miserable prison of QASMT that gives literal depression.

Ironside is my primary school and it was great, my brother, Wesley who wrote the rhythm/ background music for the school song and has an award called the “Wesley Ding” award and this school has gotten me lots of memories, it’s great and I will visit next time. 6A- Neo 2023 Graduate

Ironside State School is the perfect and ideal choice for your child and one of the best primary schools in brisbane. They are very inclusive with bullying very rarely happening. This school establishes a good learning environment for young minds and i highly recommend

great school, encourages you to participate in fun activities. The teachers are great and help you learn a lot. The school shows respect and gratitude to teachers, janitors etc. they hope to help children rise when learning. education, sport, music etc are great, they provide anything you need. The teachers and students are kind and awesome, take my advice and go to Ironside.

Came here for my last 3 years of primary school, and I can say it was probably the best 3 years of my life!
Most of the staff there are amazing, dedicated teachers that care about their students, their teaching methods are great and effective and they make sure that all students understand the topic before moving on.
Facilities are decent, and there are many extracurricular activities and opportunities that are given to all students. School events are extremely fun and is mostly something to look forward to. Sure, not everyone there was pleasant but we all got there in the end unscarred (and the tuckshop/school canteen could be improved by A LOT).
Even though the graduating cohort of 2022 were pretty unlucky and missed out on study tours, camps etc thanks to COVID-19, every year still managed to be incredible and memorable,
Nevertheless, I made some unforgettable, long-lasting great memories there with all the students and teachers and I look forward to visiting ISS again soon! :)

(+ to those who say that we were rude to them in interschool sport, it was most likely just a small group of students which does not represent the whole cohort, we are not a horrible bunch of kids)

An excellent school with a talented staff who really care about their students. Exceptionally well run curriculum and the senior band is outstanding!

Probably one of the best schools ever, as it really grows the creative mind of the student, as a former student of this school, I can tell you it really shaped my thoughts on the world, and well my highschool kinda spoiled it.

I went to this school for seven years as a student and I loved it. All the students and teachers are so kind and though all of the seven years I was there I have never seen any bullying or harm to others.

I use to go to this school in 2015 it was so much fun! I Made lots of friends and learned English
I wish i could come back and meet my old friends but now i am already on my on country i do feel guilty for not saying a proper goodbye , i really the old days and i hope one day i can my old friends but for. Now i Will try my best for the future

My son goes to this school but we sadly had to leave because of family problems Taha ( my son) really loves this school he’s always talking about his teachers and how there so friendly it’s amazing how my son who hates schools loves going to this school every week days👌

It is one of the most recognized schools in Brisbane. It has great acceptance within international communities. It has extensive facilities, including tennis courts, swimming pool, etc.

Highly recommend this school. Good education and always is a place to have fun and also learn.

Ironside is a great environment to learn in. It has a big open area for students to expand their emagination.

Best public prep art in Queensland for a reason. Great teachers and a really multicultural group of kids and everyone gets along.
