I couldn't hope for any better customer service than I receive from this awesome store. Their customer service is outstanding, possibly the best I have ever experienced from any business. All the staff in the city store are so knowledgeable, helpful and lovely. They really care about their customers. For these reasons I always buy from Paddy Pallin (unless they don't have something!) Plus they post items in compostable packaging! What's not to love!

This store offers truly exceptional customer service! We visited this afternoon because our son needed a backpack for his first high school camp early next year.

Staff member Charlie helped us with the purchase. When we weren't sure what backpack we needed, he offered to look at the school's notice about the camp and advised us which backpack our boy needed accordingly.

He explained that the backpack that he recommended was not on the shelves outside but offered to check in the storeroom for us. When he came back with the right backpack, he explained to us in detail about the different compartments and straps of the backpack, got our son to try it on and helped adjust all the straps to get the best fit for him, as well as answered all of our questions patiently and clearly.

I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy outdoor and travel gear. Thank you again for a most pleasant shopping experience, Paddy Pallin; and for all of your help this afternoon, Charlie!

The store itself can get a little stuffy (esp when trying on technical wear) but it's really not a problem.

Exceptionally experienced staff and very helpful!
Walked in and i needed help with camping gear and didn't know what i was looking for and they spent a whole hour talking me through everything even though i told them that i am not going to purchase anything today and may go into the city store to purchase.

A shout out to Greg which provided exceptional customer service and walked me through everything step by step.

My favorite store for quality outdoor gear. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and very patient. They fitted me for a backpack which is awesome and so comfortable. I have so many things from this store, you can not compare any other store for quality. They carry only quality gear so you won't be disappointed in purchases from here.

The team was so helpful today in doing my mandatory gear check for the UTA. Very friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely be back when my head is a little more clearer and more open to thinking about other things than a stupid long run :-)

Google had updated Christmas opening hours to 5pm a tad early, so when I rocked up at 4:15pm on a Sunday they were already closed ... But the legendary staff let me in, while they finished cleaning up, and I had a quick candy-store experience. I left with the pot-clamp-holder I needed, with some Christmas gift ideas for the fam, and very happy with their exceptional customer service. ++ @Charlie and @(Gary? I think?) who helped me over the phone earlier in the week too.

The staff at this location are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I've received top notch service over the phone and in store and on every visit they've been super friendly. Great place to start any adventure!

The very best hiking and outdoor gear you can purchase. Excellent range and member discount. So so difficult to not spend all your money if you browse for too long! Highly recommended.

A great experience with Parramatta Paddy Pallin from a very impressed customer.
After having the 'head' of my pack stolen on a flight I approached PP with my problem to replace the 'head' only. Not an easy request as the pack only sells as a package but the guys at PP could not be more helpful and with some difficulty sourced a new 'head'.
As a customer I am very pleased to recognise and applaud this level of effort together with the culture of the organisation that permits such service.
I add that as the 'head' could not be sold seperately there was no charge.

Big shout out to Amanda for price matching my jacket, saving me a few hundred dollars!

Had everything I needed and friendly staff, a little hard to get parking because of the busy road but the store itself is great and also offers online shopping which is convenient and fast.

Was helped by Amanda recently at the parramatta store. She was professional, patient and knew the products we bought well. Much appreciated service and advice
