Loved this rustic place!
Relaxing atmospher and great service. The food was just delicious and you can smell the smoked BBQ when you walked in the pub! From the brisket Tacos to the beef Ribs, to the Cornbread and Honey Ice cream! Enjoyed it and will be back!

Sadly didn’t get to try the dinner menu, was only stopping by for lunch. The lunch menus was pretty limited as there were only about 5 items to choose from.

That said, the double cheese burger was delicious and very generous in sizing. The beef patty was juicy very tender. (I wish the chips that came were real potato chips though)

Overall, really nice place to visit. The interior is very nice, staff is friendly. Definitely the best place I’ve visited during my short holiday getaway here.

It might sound strange for a vegan to be leaving a 5 star review, but, this place has a great selection of vegan options, tacos, stuffed potatoes and burgers, not to mention the finger food at the Lewis st kitchen. The food is delicious and pairs beautifully with the amazing selection of craft beers at Three Tails. The beer garden has a great vibe and often has live music.

The food was delicious and various paddle and whisky flights were crazy. The drink options are endless. The beef ribs special literally MELTED in my mouth. Loved every single bit of what we ordered, would definitely return when we next visit Mudgee!

This is an absolute hidden gem in Mudgee. We have been twice and both times the food was excellent. We didn't finish everything either time. The sides are great compliments to the great BBQ smoked proteins. Lots of beer and other drink selections.

Absolutely delicious BBQ! All the meats are gluten free plus a lot of the sides and sauces. We had a 3 meat, 3 side and 2 sauce dinner for two. The brisket is to die for. Melt in the mouth type stuff.
Great atmosphere, lots of seating, and a great selection of drinks as well. 10/10 meal and service! Great for fellow gluten free diners too.

This place was going off on a Saturday night. Great vibes and a chilled out atmosphere. Every table had food from smokin' bro & co... We love the beers and the food. We ordered a beef rib and kransky and once we finished that we ordered a brisket feast for one (corn and Mac and cheese for sides):

Beef rib 5/5: only available Friday and Saturday, and unmissable, this is as good as the next in Texas, so juicy, tasty and when you pick up the bone, the meat slides right off.
Kransky 5/5: this is one of the best cheese kranskys that I have ever had, also unmissable
Beef brisket 4.5/5: very good, loads of flavour but it was a little dry
Corn side dish 5/5: you have to order this, I have no idea how they make it so good
Bacon Mac n cheese 2/5: flavour was there, but the macaroni was too soft and mushy, what a shame as this is one of my favourite sides
Cornbread 2/5: flavour was fine, but the cornbread was very dry, not sure what happened there.
Slaw was ok, and the sweet bbq and spicy bbq sauces were very nice.

We also shared two tasting paddles, I liked the hazy and the Hawaiian beers the best, my partner liked the original lager, classic pale ale and the three little pigs pale ale. They were really well priced.

The food here is to die for! The love and care they put in their BBQ comes through in each and every bite. American BBQ is a labour of love, it takes so much time to get it right and in the general prep and cooking. These guys are masters of the art. The pork belly is tender and melts in your mouth, the brisket is so meaty and flavourful. My favourite side was the Bacon mac, I need the recipe.

Every time I come here, the atmosphere and service are amazing. The food it hot and fresh, and it's always ready in no time. All the staff are super friendly as well. This time was a couple of beers and tacos. Totally hit the spot. I'm sure we will be back. Cheers

Fantastic American BBQ…. The melt in your mouth brisket, the never to creamy corn and cheesy rich bacon Mac… I mean it’s so wrong and yet it’s so right!
Just enjoy the moment, have a food coma and walk it off!
Would like a place like this closer to home!

A MUST visit in Mudgee. Amazing BBQ and beer. Fantastic seating area outside the back, also seats out front. The bar is spacious and staff are super friendly in Three Tails

Best BBQ in the entire region, hands down! This place will be a regular of mine when in Mudgee. The brisket is probably the best I've ever tasted and the buttered greens are delicious. The atmosphere out the back is rustic and cosy. Well done to the crew for a great setup and top-notch BBQ and I can't wait to make this place a regular visit.

Best smoked meats I’ve ever had. We shared the Feast for 4 amongst a family of 6 and it was the perfect amount of food. The brisket and the pork belly were standouts for me, whilst others in the group adored the chicken. Sides were equally fantastic. A few in our group aren’t huge meat eaters but they left this establishment with a new love for smoked meats. The place was packed on a Sat night but a waitress was so helpful in seating us at a table and checking in on us. Places like Surly’s and Vic’s Meat Market in Sydney have nothing on Smokin Bro & Co. We’ll definitely be coming back to Mudgee to try the beef short rib one day.

I would recommend brisket for meats, creamy corn for snacks and the spicy BBQ sauce.

Just like the brewery next door, I loved it. The food was excellent and the beers tasty. Will come back for sure.

Take a photo. This is a place you'll wanna remember. Those succulent, juicy, and smokey beef ribs with a crusty beautiful bark still have me salivating when I think of this place.

Its all about the meat for us and Smokin Bros did not fail at delivering tender melt in your mouth juicy meat - delicious and reasonably priced.

Can’t recommend this place enough! We were lucky to find a spot - the atmosphere is great, staff is super friendly and more than happy to recommend the crowd favourites. Bacon mac is the best I’ve ever had and the meats are delicious- melts in the mouth, so soft.

Strawberry and rose cider is definitely a must try. And the whiskey flight was good too.

If you go to Mudgee and don’t go and try this food, you have just missed out on an amazing food experience! I dine out a lot, and at high end venues, and I would choose Smokin Bro & CO’s food over any other food I have had in years. It’s full of soul and flavour. The brisket made my eyes roll back into my head 😆 They have actually put the time and care into each protein and each side. Thanks for making me believe that there is still great food out there that people are putting time and effort into. Cannot wait to eat here again!
