Kelly's Irish Pub

Lovely spot up on the Balcony Bar watching the sunset. Great Chicken Parmigiana! We will definitely be coming back to this Pub next time we are in Mudgee.

This is the first time we had been to Mudgee and we found the best pub by far straight away. The hospitality shown to us by all the staff and especially Ned the publican at Kelly's Irish Pub was amazing.
We had the best weekend and can't thank them all enough for a fantastic weekend. Great job guys keep the country spirit going with your awesome hospitality. And thanks again for making us feel so welcome .

Travelled to Mudgee for work and passing this Irish pub I knew right away that's where I was going after work. Everything fulfilled my expectations. Amazing food, great beer, nice pub.

Ned the publican is a champion, only second to his bar and kitchen staff, do yourself a favour bugger the rest come to the Kelly and have a good night. Cheers, Clay we will be back..

Great selection of Irish beer and best onion rings ever. Not a lot for vegetarians, just a veggie burger and a simple salad, but it's an old fashioned pub so it makes sense. Good atmosphere and super busy on Saturday afternoon.

This place is awesome! The Scotch fillet was a perfect medium rare and the chips were amazing (I'd get another bowl of fries next time I go to Kelly's), I really enjoyed the generous fish and chips. The wines recommended by Kelly herself were a Stein Riesling (for the fish and chips) and Shiraz by Black (for the steak). The Shiraz was so good we picked up a couple on our way out. The wines are priced about the same as what you would pay at the cellar door (between $0 - $2 per bottle), so if you wanted to pick up some wines after the cellar doors closed or didn't have time to do the cellar doors then the wine shop is a great bet! Stopped at the pub for lunch on the way to Coonabarabran from Sydney. The food was good and not expensive. We had the beef burgers and the schnitzel. Food was pretty good, no complaints. Staff was friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

We had a few beers and was later very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the meals we had. I ordered the pork roast and it was great. We also had a great seafood pasta. Would definitely go back again.

My wife and I stopped over in Mudgee for the night and visited Kelly’s Irish Pub for dinner. The atmosphere is great, service is wonderful and the choice of meals is staggering. The pub is well patronised and has separate areas for the services offered, so you’re not eating next to pokies, or in the main bar. They have a kids room. Overall the pub is welcoming and a great place to eat.

The food here was so much better than just a “pub feed”. We had two entrees and a main and they were all great. The pappardelle with octopus and chorizo was next level. The salt and pepper squid cooked beautifully and the pork bites were bloody delicious. Would love to work our way through the menu. The head chef is a genius!!

My partner and i had dinner at Kellys on Wednesday 24th Jan.
The staff were vwry attentive
We had a bread and pork belly popcorn whick was great followed by a battered snapper and a papperdelle pasta with chorizo and baby octopus.
The meals were great nut my only recommendation woyld be to cook the chorizo a little more in the pasta and maybe marinate the octopus a littke more as it was a little bland.
Apart from that it was a great feed.
I would like to make a special memtion of Toni who was one of the female staff on duty.
Extremely friendly and hospitable and went out of her way to make our night enjoyable.
She even offered to take us back to the resort in their courtesy bus which was unexpected.
Being a hospitality professional for over 35 years,
Its rare to come across a staff membee that is so passionate about their chosen career.

Attended a birthday party on the upstairs verandah.
Had a great time, stayed overnight in the accommodation lovely air conditioned room.
Kids had a ball with jugs of lemonade n plates of nibbles.
Kelly's pub is the place to be to relax overlooking town.

Great pub with a chilled funky atmosphere and an extensive menu to choose from. We loved sitting on the balcony taking in the vibe and fresh air.

One of the best Pub meals we have had. It was nice to have a potato bake instead of chips as most places dont give you a choice. The meal was presented well and tasted delicious.

Well cooked steak and very accommodating with side changes.

The sauce serving was on the smaller size but that's okay to look past.

We took a pit stop at Mudgee for lunch on the way back to Sydney from Warrumbungle. Food was tasty, big portions and pub ambience is lovely. Would recommend. Definitely will come back.

Went for lunch on New Years Day. Had the burger plus an egg and pineapple, it was delicious. Beer was cold, service prompt.

We went on a Sunday night, not crazy but not quiet. Had the roasted beetroot salad which was amazing, lovely warm salad that tasted delicious and filling. Steak was cooked well with a nice potato bake and cooked carrots (locally grown it seemed). Would definitely return

Food was very yummy for there lunch specials of 14 dollars

Atmosphere was busy but very homely. Warm and inviting.
We both had the rib eye. It was OUTSTANDING. Service was exceptional. Special mention to Kristin and Sandra. They were brilliant and helpful, also kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!
