Beautiful place. Part of river side gardens. Quite and nice

Wow, what a hidden gem. I have lived in Maylands for over 10 years and, although I have seen the signs, I have never visited. A tranquil space full of bird song. Well kept water land and pathways. Kids liked the frog sound generator thing.

A MUST VISIT PLACE FOR PEACE AND TRANQUILITY
Beautiful place to visit and take a slow walk along the pathway thru the Bird Sanctuary whilst listening to all the sounds you can hear, from running water/streams to birds and other wild life.
There is a carpark just off Guildford Road where you can park and you can walk all the way thru the bird sanctuary to Riverside Gardens which is all within.

Very beautiful area with lots of curious subjects who don't mind getting their photo taken! Had to be very still and silent for the duckling photo! Worth it! The cheeky galah photo is still my most fav capture to this day!

The best place to take doggos in the Perth area, period. Massive grassed areas for the ball chasers, little beach and river for the swimmers, plenty of shade for the sitters. Bbq areas, fenced playground, plenty of poop bins, coffee van, gazebos, paths, jetty. This is our pooches happy place. Been coming since they were pups and never had an issue with other dogs or people. We visit 3-5 times a week, despite the 25 minute drive.

Beautiful surrounding a had a cheap feed by almighty burgers and big grass area for kids to run around and great bike path and playground

fantastic open space, good public facilities; loved by pooches and their owners, daily exercisers, friendly strollers and fresh air fiends.

This is a beautiful and serene place with a large hide photographers can use to capture images of the many wonderful birds that come here. Take the time and ideally a camera with a long zoom lens and spend a joyous hour or three here. It is very good for the soul.

This is a really beautiful place! I love taking the dog here because majority of the dogs you come across are so friendly. Very calm riverbank which is awesome for the dog to swim in and plenty of space for him to have a run!

Excellent place for a nice beautiful Sunday afternoon. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play on the grass area on at the playground. Very nice to be so close to the river and be able to sit there and have a picnic and BBQ. Plenty of parking too!

Amazing scenery with path access for walking or jogging for hours. Dog and fishing friendly.

Great park to take your dogs to for socialising, ample space to play fetch and train on the grassed areas, and on those hot days take a dip in the Swan River (the dogs, & you if you want 😉). Huge area for exercise too (run/walk/cycle).

Great park to walk your dog, go fishing and ride your bike. Riverside views, coffee vans usually parked in the morning, play area for children, boat ramp access.

Such a beautiful walk with the dog. Lots of pelicans on the river and friendly locals who smile as you walk by. We are very lucky to have so much undeveloped land in our suburb.

Really hope they don't change too much about this park. Just an all round great place to take your dogs.

I love this place. Great for Pokemon hunting and raiding but also the Birdlife and other wildlife here is amazing. Gorgeous gorgeous place to just sit and enjoy. Definitely recommend a visit.

This place is great. I only wish that the council or rangers would patrol the area and ensure that dog owners respected the rules and kept their dogs on lead in the area where required.
