The shop is known for its bbq chicken. The best in the region. The shop is always crowded. Very popular. Many other items are available. Pad thai, salads, curry puff, fried rice, baked potato, chicken wings. Chicken are always freshly bbq ed.👍👌🍽

The best part of Chargrill Charlie's is the amount of food they give you! They aren't stingy at all, and fill the containers up to the top every time!

I couldn't believe this place. It's a tiny, order at the counter and either take it away or try for one of the few sidewalk tables kind of place. The selection of meats, salads, vegetables and other dishes is extraordinary. You can choose the size of the container, and they load it up as full as they can. The food was tasty, local, unique and fast, even when the line is long. I wish this place was available near my work in the states. It's reasonably priced, and I'd go there all the time.

It's one of the better Chargrill Charlie's franchisees, the food is consistently good. It's a great takeaway chicken shop, and their chips are great too. But they also have a good range of home-style dishes which alternate on different days of the week. Their satay chicken is awesome 😋. Helpful tip: don't forget to take your own bag. One of those fridgey shopping bags will keep your meal warm until you get home 🙂

I forgot to check the bag when checking out and found the chicken schnitzel was missing. Went back to the shop and they just got one for me without asking. Great service! The food is tasty.

I eat there maybe 3-5 times a year. I live nearby. Their chicken both normal and peri peri/split is outstanding. The place is always packed in the early evening as all the goldigger wives need to find something to "cook" for their kings. During lunchtime, early arvo all the Knox and Abbottsleigh school kids are milling around, as are tradies who are doing reno's on the millionaire's houses. Their salads are great and generous, and good variety and really fresh, and also the curries, and lamb shanks. Their Schnitzels are excellent, and the potato wedges are really great. Their Peri Peri sauce is superb. It isn't cheap to get a feed, but the quality and service is excellent. Cheap if you are a local affluent CEO that lives here. Never had a bad experience. Can be a little bit cramped ordering around dinner time there, but everyone behaves well etc. It is an absolute "institution" here in Wahroonga.

Always love stopping here on my way out of Sydney. It's the tiniest shop and they are always busy but staff are unfailingly friendly and polite. Servings are generous and the food is delicious. Both my partner and I had a 1/4 chicken dinner tonight - could easily have shared. Good value, good food.

Their roast chicken and riast lamb rolls are GODLIKE, filled to the max, bread always super fresh.

Their burgers are great, good distribution of ingredients and very filling.

Their curries, noodles, pies and other hot dishes are just, always great, always.
You gotta try the drumsticks...that sauce...wow.

Chips are shoestring style, wedges are hand cut...they are what they are...always served properly cooked and tasty.

The desserts are SO good...the apple/rhubarb custard is life changing.

Good food and great service. Be warned they get busy also make sure you take a tickets and wait for your number to be call as you walk in. Price are really reasonable for the quality of food you get. There should be plenty of street parking, if not there is a car park behind the petrol stations on Pacific Highway and it is only a few minutes walk away.

We regularly order here and had a few issues with uber not delivering our food, but the lady was more than happy to chase up the order when we didn't get our food on two occasions. We ended up driving to pick up our food but the lady handled my frustrated husband very appropriately. I am very impressed with the quality of service and food we have got here.

Excellent food. It's all delicious. Very expensive, but worth it. Some processes need to be ironed out a bit, particularly with app ordering. It's such an understandably busy place it's great to preorder on the app. They just put the bags on the counter without calling out who's order, or what's in it. It means everyone needs to check every completed order. Small issue that I'm sure they'll sort, but a bit annoying to have your food ready without being aware...

A local favourite. We almost always get the Family meal pack, whole chargrilled chicken, family sized chips & Caesar salad.
Sometimes supplemented with some schnitzels and an extra salad for tomorrows lunch.
The chicken are a good size for four people, always moist with a crispy skin, never wet or greasy like some supermarket chickens.

Please look into your deliveroo service. I ordered at 12:49, order was prepared at 1:17 by the restaurant and the driver delivered at 2:15 an hour later! I can walk to the place in 15 mins.

I've had takeaway here and the food has always been great but due to the delay, the chips were soggy, the drinks were hot and the salads had wilted. As a regular customer I do not want your brand tarnished because a service provider is poor. Please ensure you guys are strict with them.
