ACUPUNCTURE FOR PETS

Both of our older cavalier cross spaniels approx 20kg benefited from David’s acupuncture therapy. They were twins and lived to the ages of 14 years 8 months and 16 years two weeks. Our longest living pup suffered a severed cruciate at aged 14. After an X-ray and being informed by an independent local vet we were looking at surgery of $6000+, we got a second opinion whilst out of Sydney on a doggie holiday and were advised any op was going to be risky as he may not survive the op due to his age. That vet on the mid north coast in Taree recommended we seek out acupuncture and hydrotherapy. That’s when we reached out to David. I am delighted to testify that our injured pup made a full recovery with acupuncture, 3 hydro sessions and loads of TLC and ultimately outlived his brother by almost two years thanks to David’s care. His brother who passed naturally also benefited from acupuncture in his final weeks allowing him to be on the local dog park 12 hours before he fell asleep forever. We are very grateful to David for his care and attention to our boys. We highly recommend acupuncture as an alternative option to surgery or as a complimentary option to assist recovery.
