Lowe Family Wine Co

I had the best wine tasting experience at Lowe Family Wine Co. in Mudgee, thanks to Bryan, Jorge and Freddy. They explained everything from the crops to the glass, and shared insights into the different grape varietals used. They also gave us great wine pairing tips. The wines were incredible and their knowledge made the visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day with our child and dog, we couldn't have felt more welcome. The two of us enjoyed the 6-course evening meal from start to finish. Unbeatably friendly and attentive service, top quality on the plate and a great atmosphere. The icing on the cake was that I was even allowed to take a bouquet of my favorite tea home with me. What a great place!

We visited Lowe’s for a wine tasting, followed by a walk around the gorgeous gardens. We patted the animals and enjoyed the swing by the dam. We left with a few bottles of wine and smiles on our faces from enjoying ourselves so much!

WOW! What a pleasure to have stumbled across this family owned winery. This is my first go in Australia and I’ve got to say, this wine exceeded anything else I’ve tasted while traveling the last few months.
The warm welcomes, education on process, generosity in tastings, phenomenal flavor profiles, and especially fun energy from the entire staff, I couldn’t be happier I visited. Left with a couple bottles, the Cabernet Franc has herbaceous rich notes that we are eager to pair with a delicious steak dinner soon. Never had a Cab like it. What an impression, I’ve made sure to keep this place in my winery references for other friends! Thank you!

Lowe Family Wine is a beautiful vineyard. They have a large property with lots of seating areas and a lake. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. On the property there is also a chapel and some emus.

We had a lovely experience on Australia Day at Lowe Wines. As club members we were about to bring a few friends for a complimentary tasting and we were even treated to a behind the scenes tasting straight from the barrels!

Best winery place I have ever seen ,in mudgee, open everyday 10 am to 5 pm,6km away from Mudgee Centre .Food is provided, the wines are delicious, it is a very authentic place, you can test 6 types of wines.$20 pp.

Wonderful wine and beer (Lowe pale ale) in a perfect setting amongst very beautiful gardens and grounds. Well worth a visit. We enjoyed a picnic style lunch which was delicious.

One of the nicest winery experiences I have had.
The wine tasting was interesting and well run, and generous. I balked at the $fee but the wines were lovely and you could tailor the tasting to your preferences.
The picnic hamper was absolutely delicious and top quality. So many nice picnic spaces.

What an experience! I arrived and was blown away by the size of the property. Lowe Wines is an experience. They have an outdoor chapel overlooking a lake, and a cute swing you can enjoy. There are Emus and Donkeys you can go and say hello to and most importantly the wine! The tasting I chose to do outside as it was a lovely morning. I fell in love with Jodie. Gorgeous wine to start the tasting and the rest were also magnificent. The thing that made the experience special was the service. They are so welcoming and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. After my tasting I went across to do a garden tour and then sat down for a tasty lunch at Zin House. Jack Brown was the chef in residence when I went and he is very talented and the meal was thoughtfully prepared and the dessert with the Bunya nut my favourite. The had a candle in the dessert for my birthday and I liked the idea in between courses you can walk around the grounds. Highly recommend. Worth the money and also great if you have kids.

Lowe was our favourite winery of our trip! The place is beautiful, the wines and food were amazing, and the staff was really friendly.

We went on a Tuesday morning so it was quiet; and we got to try more wines than what were on the wine tasting list, which was great!

We also loved being able to customise our platter, and everything was delicious. The variety of wines was also great, making it really enjoyable for both my partner and I (which have opposite preferences in terms of wines).

Finally, we walked around the winery and it is such a beautiful place! We ended up spending almost 4h there and we had a great time (our dog also loved it there!).

Amazing cellar door , a mix of winery and antique store , wines are good , paid tasting flight of wine .. would recommend a visit.

Ingrid took amazing care of us during our trip. We tasted an excellent range of wines and enjoyed delightful platters of local cheese, meats and vegetables.

We did the Deluxe Picnic Hamper and added some wines on the day. All very easy to order online; though they were very well organised so you could do in-person. Food was delicious and very generous portions - good value for money.
Lots of beautiful gardens to wander and seating is spaced out to enjoy the scenes.

We joined my brother & his wife at Zin House for lunch! 😋 We had our own private room which was great. A bit pricey for what you get but it was a great experience. We finished off at Lowe Cellar where David Lowe sat us for a last minute wine tasting even though they were closing. We enjoyed the hospitality, David made the time to chat with us even though there was a wedding in their vineyard that day and they were so busy! 🙏😍

It’s a beautiful winery well set up and also well organised with regards to the way they do their tastings: we were a walk in and had a great 90 minutes of walking around the various spots for our wine tasting and some food to nibble on.
The wine tasting host is fun and engaging. Bought a couple of their wines too. Excellent start to a mudgee experience

Did a wine tasting in stations, it was beautiful our server knew so much information. Brought our dog and he had a lovely time on the grounds. Just gorgeous place and wine was lovely

Hands down one of the best wine tasting experiences we've ever had. Truly entertaining, delicious and you get a real feel that everyone that works here wants to share their passion with you. I know you only say you're the 2nd best in the area but we went to the competition (it was pants).
