Awesome fishing and brewing shop having everything u need at competitive prices owner's are very helpful with any fishing questions

This place is the Tardis. Small shop frontage, innocuous entry, but holey Dooley, step through the door, and you are immersed in every conceivable item you could ever possibly need connected with brewing, fishing or bbqing. It's all neatly stacked, shelf apon shelf, with enough room to navigate your way around, and no matter what you want the man behind the counter can direct you to, or get whatever it is you ask for. If they don't have the exact brand or thing, I'm pretty certain they would have a suitable equivalent.

Outstanding bait and tackle shop. Always have fresh bait, excellent tackle recommendations, open earlier than anyone else and will give honest advice on what to do and where. Whenever I'm up this way, this is where I go and will always go. Thank you for everything fellas! Legends.

This place is such a gem. They have a great selection of items along with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very happy to find this place!

Jay has a great range of fishing gear and fresh baits. He is super knowledgeable about fishing and will be able to get a fish on the end of your line if you need some advice.

If you're into BBQ Jay is also a bit of a Pit Master who has been known to cook a mean tomahawk steak.

Home Brewing and distilling supplies are easily the best in the area. He has everything from basic kits all the way up to all grain systems and fresh ingredients.

Awesome man cave and outdoors activities covered including but not limited to fishing and brewing.

It was a home brewing bit I was looking for. From the outside I was expecting a tiny, corner store that probably didn't have what I was looking for. WRONG! This is a toy shop that has everything brewing and fishing. Very happy customer 😁

Amazing range, great customer service with excellent advice. I can highly recommend the Maple Bacon Rub for curing prior to smoking, easy as all in one pack !

Great service and good knowledge of baits & lures. The gentleman that served me also gave me tips of fishing spots and baits to suit target fish. Decent range of fishing gear, especially for the space limit.

Very well presented and friendly staff. I'm into bbq, fishing and beer however I blew my budget just on bbq today! They have a good selection and high quality bbq rubs and sauces. It's easy to tell these guys know their bbq, no chain store training here. No doubt it won't be last visit and I hope it makes it to ur go to list too.

Hands down the best home brew and bbq supply store i have been to . Jay really knows his stuff and is always keen to put you on the right track . My home brewed pale ales are tasting that good i dont buy beer anymore . Just starting to get into the low n slow smoking now so i will be back in there soon for some advice and supplys . Would highly recommend checking it out and see for yourself

A cool store with plenty of stock to look at. I went to buy a couple of Yeti products and the sales assistant was very helpful with showing me those and other the products.

We were on a winter escape from Ballarat, traveled to Port Stephens, Port Macquarie, Yamba, and finished with just two nights in Balina. We called into see Jay at HOOKED ON Brewing Bait & BBQ and the service was exceptional, and bait was super fresh. I was a little fed up with tackle stores but this one is different with a great knowledgeable bloke. Will be back for a longer stay next year and wouldn't waste my time shopping anywhere else.

Always great service & reliable fishing reports. Range isn't as comprehensive as chain stores but for fresh bait it is one of the best fishing shops in NSW.

We went to Dave's Bait Shop 3 times over the Christmas week we spent in Suffolk Park and each time, the guys were extremely helpful with all our bait/fishing questions. Very late on Christmas Eve my son wrote a last minute letter to Santa begging him to magically fix his fishing rod which had broken that day. In a bit of a panic (because all the shops were shut) we wrote back (as Santa) saying that he could collect a brand new rod from Dave's Bait shop on Boxing Day (as they were obviously closed Christmas Day). We called in the morning of Boxing Day to pre-pay and were not really expecting anything more but when my son proudly walked in and told them his name the guys played along brilliantly saying that when they'd opened the shop that morning they'd found a delivery for a "Connor" from Santa and that they were wondering who would show up for it. They'd even gone to the trouble of creating a printed note from Santa which my son carried around for days afterwards. Thanks for going above and beyond and making this a really magical experience!!
