Murwillumbah Motor Inn

Perfect location. Room was very clean and of a decent size. Big screen TV. Great Wi-Fi. The view of Mt Warning was amazing. Management and staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Although it was a working trip, it felt like a holiday. I'll definitely be back.

I've been staying at the Murwillumbah Motor Inn for about 5 years now for business.
Previously the place was comfortable and clean enough. Since the new owners and managers, the place has been undergoing a transformation. My most recent stay was lovely, the hosts Julie and Murray were warm and accommodating.
I am especially excited by the newly renovated pet friendly room! I am looking forward to bringing my family and my two good boys!

What a hidden gem tucked under the magic My Warning. As 12 golfers we stayed 2 nights and couldn’t think of a nicer cleaner happier place to stay and drown our sorrows of bad scores, sitting in the most tranquil outdoor garden setting. We all agreed we felt like we were in a Tuscan villa with a huge advantage, an English speaking host. Thank you Murray. We will be back.

First time stay and was pleasantly surprised. Much more than expected. Murray and Julie went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Great location. Walking distance to town and Showgrounds.

Just love this motel. Julie & Murray are the best…hard at work making this place even better. Gorgeous outdoor garden with tables and chairs. A very relaxing setting. Short stroll to shops and restaurants. Cannot wait to return.

The motel is currently undergoing a make over as it is quite old hence the three stars for room. But its in a fabulous location with fantastic views and staff are always friendly and accomodating. Its our third stay and we will continue to return.

From booking yo checking out the managers service was second to none.
Room was ammaculate water pressure in the shower was soo good.
The bike storage is a fantastic idea and the barbecue was very neat and tidy.
If yiu are going to ride the trail l highly recommend this motel

I travel the region constantly and this Motel really represents the best value for money in the region.
Can walk into town to the local supermarket, in-room facilities are clean and modern.
The outdoor BBQ area is great for families wanting to cook their own meals and enjoy outdoor dining.
Swimming pool and onsite parking.
Highly recommend it for business or vacation. Good old-fashioned service and a great location.

Our family was luck enough to spend 6 days in this beautiful town and in this lovely Inn. The host Murray and Julie were wonderful and very accommodating. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The motel is getting a makeover and the new rooms look amazing. Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one and we are looking forward to staying with you again.

Murray and Julie were fantastic hosts. I accidentally locked my keys in my room and I was knocking on the window at 930pm. I apologised profusely but nothing was too much trouble for Murray who willingly unlocked the door to the room. Stood around and had a good chat for a while. I visit murwillumbah a few times per year and this is where I will stay for now on.

Booked last minute as an overnight stay on our way home from QLD.
The rooms were clean and presentable, the bed was comfortable. The outdoor area was beautiful- lots of plants and tables and chairs certainly made it inviting and the staff were lovely.
The property is having some renovations done so keen to see what they do. I would certainly stay here again.

Recently stayed at the Murwillumbah Motor Inn for an overnight trip.. Thanks Julie and Murray (new owners) for an opportunity to stay in one of the recently renovated rooms (sleeps 5).. It was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Julie and Murray were easy to communicate with, which added to the enjoyment of the stay. It was also a short walk into town, so very convenient. Can highly recommend and will be back.

Lovely little place in convenient location. Beautiful views from (shared) hotel balcony. Rooms were outdated but extremely clean I was impressed.
Only issue was the people above at 10pm stomping and slamming doors, but not the fault of owners.

Had a wonderful stay here.
Even though the rooms are still 80's style, they are very clean and appropriately priced. Had everything we desired for a pleasant stay with a beautiful outlook to the mountains. It's so green at the moment with all the rain we've had.
Would certainly come back again.

I'd like to extend a big thankyou to Murray and Julie for making our recent stay with them an outstanding experience. Not only were they great hosts but we were delighted to find out that we were staying in one of their newly renovated rooms which was deserving of the 5 stars we allocated. We will definitely be returning.

Came to town to pick up machinery for my business, my wife I and coming from a country town out west, we found this place felt cozy and homely. I love the old school look of the rooms. Food in town is great and friendly management. Will definitely stay again. Good view from balcony and short walk to pubs in town!

Julie and Murray are excellent new owners, doing beautiful renovations. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the updated rooms for a few days. Highly recommend them.
