What a stunning tea boutique in Potts Point.

Hats off to the owner and her immense passion towards her products.

She greeted with such kindness and knowledge and instantly invites you in to her store.

I ordered the matcha cheesecake and single origin matcha tea and let me tell you… absolute heaven!!!

The cheesecake was so smooth and subtle with its flavours and texture. Not too sweet yet the perfect balance between the layers of goodness.

This was my first time having a matcha without milk and wow was I shocked at how much I enjoyed this. This truly allows you to appreciate the quality of the matcha and how pure and smooth it is. It was not bitter at all and didn’t require any added sweetness (coming from an absolute sweet tooth).

Have been going here for 2 years. Love this place. The tea is amazing, and her knowledge is astonishing. A must go place! I have moved away from Potts Point now but still go every time I'm in Sydney and I bring friends there a lot too.

A must visit for any tea enthusiast, or even a casual tea enjoyer. Cathy is knowledgeable and enjoys what she does very much. We settled on a tieguanyin and a pu'erh. The matcha cheesecake was also surprisingly delicious. Can't wait to be back.

As a tea drinker, l love this little tea bar and l wish there was more of a tea culture in Australia. Tried a few different teas (with multiple brews for the pure non-blended teas) and they are of amazing quality. The food was also delicious, home-made and homestyle cooking. Dumplings were my favourite dish!
Visited twice and the owner and staff are very passionate and knowledgeable about tea. Keen to come back next time I'm in Sydney.

An amazing experience! The tea was superb, the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve had and the service was outstanding. This is the type of place you can come solo or with another person and enjoy amazing quality tea and chat for hours on end.

Low light , small shop with multiple wonders laid out beautifully, very friendly and knowledgeable Cathy guided us through an experience out of this world, beautifully presented teas and food and great atmosphere....A MUST DO for lovers of tea and even those first timers ....simple and delicious food also , with well designed cocktail list.......TREAT YOURSELF.!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Ms. Catrea Tea Bar and was thoroughly impressed with my experience.

The standout feature for me was undoubtedly the atmosphere. It was top-notch, providing a welcoming and delightful ambiance that elevated the entire experience.

The Jasmine tea I ordered was exceptional — its flavor was both delicate and aromatic, truly capturing the essence of high-quality tea. Complementing my tea, the pork belly and prawn wonton was delicious. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, offering a savory delight, while the wontons were a perfect blend of texture and taste with sesame sauce.

I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Love the duck poo tea, complex, aromatic and has loads of notes on the palate! Between the first and the last infusion the tea is really consistent! The owner has a great collection of tea sets!
