Noosa Eco Retreat

As my amazing wife said.... you don't choose the yurt life, the yurt chooses you. What an amazing experience staying here was. Beautiful location and an amazingly different type of accommodation. Everything you need is here. We sat on the jellybag seats and has cheese crackers and beverages just watching the kangaroos in the rain. Such a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely will stay again and highly recommended.

These photos just didn’t do this place justice as it was raining but it was still absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk in is like home and super spacious with everything you could possibly need. Nick and Danae have done such an amazing job here with every single little detail throughout the yurt is just fantastic. The breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly need and not to mention the views soooo breath taking!
We will be back and be recommending to everyone we know. This place is a MUST SEE and worth every cent. Hotels and motels don’t have anything on these little hidden gems.

Wow! Fantastic location to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The yurt had everything you needed. There was a warm welcome message, goodies left in the fridge as well as a breakfast basket on the table. Bed was super comfortable. Service was 10/10. Great place to walk around and explore. Instructions on entering were crystal clear. Absolutely loved my stay. Definitely highly recommend and I will be back. Thanks Nick and Denae 🫶🫶

This place is out of this world! The Yurts are delightful, including the lighting, the generous nibbles and breakfast. I got up early the next morning, watching and photographing the setting moon, early birds and kangaroos around the pond with views to the tip of Mt Cooroora, appearing above the fog behind the Yurts. This is a super-duper hide-away for nature lovers.

This was by far one of the most amazing accommodations I have ever stayed at. The location is stunning, super serene, with the mountains and trees surrounding. The yurt itself is BEAUTIFUL, very clean, plenty of amenities, and the breakfast basket was such a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Staying at the Noosa Eco Retreat was just absolutely wonderful. I cannot praise this place enough. Attention to detail to make you feel really special. Full on breakfast more than enough for 2 people. chocolates in the fridge. A selection of tea and coffee and hot chocolate. So many extras you do not receive elsewhere. Beautiful king size bed. The fairy lights across the ceiling would make for a beautiful romantic getaway. I highly recommend Noosa Eco.

Such a special, unique and luxurious experience. Stepping inside the yurt I instantly fell in love. The Noosa Eco retreat is in our top ten places to stay. The photos online set your expectations so high and yet they are still exceeded as you settle in and enjoy the peace and quiet, and all of the little details and extra care the hosts have put in to make you as comfortable as possible. No little detail is overlooked. The breakfast hamper is so generous and the cute little kitchenette allowed us to have a few meals in as we don't like to eat out for every meal. We enjoyed the viewing window most of the time we were in the yurt, and also hung out on the deck in the evening star watching. We had Kookaburra's come to visit, and Kangaroos each morning and afternoon either right outside our yurt, or down near the front of the property. There were 2 warm oil heaters for the chilly mornings and also at least a few fans. The Yurt did get warm if it was a sunny day, so we left the windows open for the lovely breezes. We will be back as we still have so much to explore in the surrounding areas. The Noosa Botanical gardens was about 20 minutes by car, and of course the beast (Mt Cooroora) literally a 2 minute drive away to the trail head. You can walk from the property to the trail but glad that we drove as it was a very challenging mountain and our legs were like jelly by the time we were done. Cute little town of Pomona you can also walk or drive to, and then a bigger town 15 minutes drive away. Cannot say enough how amazing this place is - you will not be dissapointed at all.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and literally could not have asked for a better time. Everything was thought of, from breakfast, tea, coffee, hot choccys, snacks, to hot water bottles, fans, heaters, board games, toiletries, etc. The entire property was immaculately cared for and the hosts were incredible. Providing us with weather updates, ideas of places to see and things to do while we stayed there. The picnic areas and games area is a wonderful touch, and out yurt was a throwing distance to some beautiful walking trails, it was truly hard to leave. Thank you for everything, we will hopefully be coming back again soon.

Amazing destination in a magical part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland!
Stayed 1 night with group of friends split between 4 Yurts.
The hosts had prepared an immaculate and beautiful space for all of us with great attention to detail.
We took the short drive to Pomona for dinner at the Distillery before enjoying the rest of the night by the fire pit.
We cannot wait to come back soon for a longer stay and enjoy the nearby hike in better weather.

I just hosted a Level 1 Reiki Retreat at the Noosa Eco Retreat. What a place! It has the most amazing energy and the yurts are well-equipped, spacious and nestled at the base of the majestic Pomona mountain. The hosts have everything covered to make your stay (or retreat) a breeze and are very friendly. If you want to experience luxury and total relaxation in an untouched part of the world, this is the place. Thanks guys!

A fabulous retreat. Self service for breakfast means privacy and the opportunity to sleep in! Highly recommended. Single carport under cover, lovely layout with all the little luxuries to enjoy provided. Owner is also fabulous at recommending places to.go.and things to do.

This place is INCREDIBLE! The Yurts are something special - every inch of the place screams character and is just so cosy and relaxing. The deck with the fire bbq is another highlight. Looking up at the mountain, sunset and stars was magical. Nick and his partner were more than welcoming. They even left me a birthday present. Do yourself a favour and spend a weekend recharging at Noosa Eco Retreat. Photos cant capture how beautiful it is. Thanks guys!

I have no words to describe this place and I can't thank them enough for the AMAZING service. I never experienced a service like that before. The honeymoon set up was incredible and the yurt is a great experience by itself! It was raining during our stay but my husband and I didn't even care about staying indoors since the place was so nice and cosy! I love Nossa Eco Reatreat and I definitely plan to go back during summer!

Great place, yurts are on a large opening, no tv - which is good. you get close to nature and the mountain. The whole experience is eco-type. Close to Pomona and not far from Noosa. We loved it very much. Thank you.

Wow, what an experience. So romantic, surprisingly spacious and cool but cosy. The stars were magnificent, the walk out back beautiful and tranquility welcomed. This was all topped off by fantastic hosts. Fully recommended for a romantic getaway or just a restful break.
