Carinya Byron Bay

Carinya villas are well designed and extremely comfortable. Lovely, large private deck with great views and plenty of bird life. Situated 10 minutes from central Byron and 5 minutes to Bangalow Carinya is well located to explore the area. Well stocked kitchen with full oven, Webber BBQ, beach towels, tote and drink bottle to take home, super comfy beds and quality linen. We stayed 12 nights and didn’t want to leave. Half way through our stay the villa was fully cleaned and serviced with new linen and fresh towels. A tour of the farm was an added bonus. Highly recommend this delightful accommodation and location

We absolutely loved our first stay at Carinya
& cannot wait to return. Our daughters were very lucky to be taken on a farm tour and meet the cows & dogs. The accommodation is beautiful, clean & has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The views & sunsets are stunning. We highly recommend Carinya for a quiet getaway or long stay.

Just came back from 8 days in the beautiful Carinya villas in Talofa! Travelling with 3 kids under 5 is no easy feat but we had the most lovely time due to the exceptional facilities this accommodation offers. They even provided a porta cot and high chair so we didn’t have to travel with these things making life and packing easier.
We cooked dinner at our villa 4 nights and they had all necessary tools and appliances including kids cups and plates and cutlery. Loved that we got 2 sneaky gin and tonics in the fridge on arrival so we could put our feet up once the kids were asleep and enjoy the stunning view over the hinterland. Best location, literally 5-15 minutes from everything worth seeing and doing.
Colin was so lovely to even give the kids a farm tour with hubby while I took baby into newrybar for some shopping!
Will definitely be back to this place as it had everything we needed and nothing we did not.

Ps the mozzies were bad this time of year so prepare for that but that is generally life in the bush so it didn’t bother us too much.

We absolutely loved our recent weekend stay at Carinya villas. Accommodation and location were perfect for a well overdue extended family holiday. Surrounded by picturesque countryside the villas at Carinya are first class.
Having a tour of the farm for the kids was a definite highlight and sipping a cocktail watching the most magical sunsets from the deck a highlight for me.
So close to both Byron bay and Bangalow for days at the beach or shopping then back to the peace and serenity of Carinya.
Will definitely be going back!!

The luxury villas at Carinya Byron Bay are absolutely stunning and have amazing hinterland views just 10mins drive from the centre of Byron Bay.
I stayed in the accessible villa as I'm in an electric wheelchair and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Suoer easy to get around, fully accessible bathroom and easy access onto the deck. I loved it! And so did my support workers who came with me.
The host is extremely helpful and provided me with heaps of information about the villa and activities in the surrounding areas.
I definitely hope to visit again sometime!

Carinya is gorgeous. The views from the villa were stunning. It’s very relaxing and beautiful. The villas were very modern and had everything you needed for a great stay. The contact from the owners was great. A special thank you to Alex for taking us on a tour of the property and to show our kids the cows. A great location in between Byron and Bangalow. We will definitely be back. We had an awesome weekend away.

Our stay at Carinya was amazing! The booking and check in process was so smooth and we received a whole list of recommendations of amazing spots to eat and things to do in both Byron, Bangalow and surrounding areas. So peaceful waking up to the sounds of cows and some amazing sunsets from the balcony! Villa came with beautiful complimentary local nibbles and it was super easy to contact the property managers with any questions. The villas are stunning and super private. The location is the best we’ve stayed at in Byron - couldn’t recommend this as a place to stay more!

Carinya is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy views of the Byron Hinterland. It is well located - just an easy drive to Byron Bay or Bangalow. It has all the amenities you need for a weekend or week getaway! We even had cows grazing right in front of the deck - the kids loved it and didn’t want to leave. We will stay again and next time for longer.

Great hinterland views, and great location a short drive to Byron town and beaches. Perfect for a quiet stay out of the hustle and bustle. The villa is modern exactly as the photos and very comfortable equipped with all you need for even a longer stay. Comfy bed, beautiful bed linen. The host was great and very accommodating and helped me out with receiving a postal delivery. I had a great stay, and I would return in the future.

WELL RESOURCED - the villa was spacious and had the facilities to make it feel like we didn't leave anything at home. The kitchen, laundry, and bathroom has everything that you need and could think of.

CLEAN AND QUIET - the entire villa was spotless and felt like we were the first to be staying in it. Given the clever landscaping, we felt completely separate from the other villas and couldn't even see them. We were undisturbed and left alone with nature the entire stay. The outlook from every room was gorgeous and makes it easy to slip into holiday mode as soon as you arrive.

OVERALL EXCELLENT STAY - there is so much thought that has gone into designing, equipping, and fitting out the Villas and making sure they flow into the outdoors and natural setting. The communication with the hosts was great. They have created a place of quiet luxury and their attention to detail hasn't gone unnoticed.

We will definitely book again in the future!

The accessible villa at Carinya was the perfect stay for our crew over the Splendour long weekend. The team were beyond helpful with all our accessibility needs and so easy to communicate with. By far the best accessible accomodation we have come across for wheelchair users. We will be staying here again !

Beautiful property in an idyllic location just 10 mins out of Byron. Very conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre which makes for a perfect holiday! The villa was very comfortable and we loved our stay!

Our second stay, and again, for Bluesfest during Easter. Easy 15 minute drive to Bluesfest and a wonderful spot to relax after a day of live festival music.
Bonus for me was the abundant bird life thanks to the beautiful surrounding gardens and farmland.
Annie and the team were very communicative and accommodating, including allowing us to trickle charge our electric vehicle.
Check-in/out was simple and very easy to come and go with parking right outside the door.
Villa was modern, clean and comfortable with quality furniture and appliances, a home away from home!

When booking my first trip to Byron Bay I came across Carinya on airbnb. I went last month and was blown away when I arrived to the beautiful villa! The villa was very modern and clean and had spectacular hinterland views. It is also in a fabulous location - I felt like I was hours away from Byron Bay because of the serenity however I was only 10 mins drive to the main area and 5 to Bangalow.The Carinya team were fast in communication and checking in and out was a breeze. There were yummy local goodies left in the villa and info provided on good cafes and activities in Byron which I appreciated being my first visit. I've been recommending Carinya to friends & family. It will be my go-to when in Byron again! Thanks Carinya team for making my first visit to Byron a memorable one :)

Such a beautiful place, magical views, super quiet, and still so close to central Byron. We woke up to cows grazing just outside our window.
We really appreciated the recommendations on restaurants and activities provided. They directed us to visit amazing eateries in local towns we would not have visited otherwise. We loved it and will be back soon.

It was easy to forget being so close to town and the beach. These eco villas are so beautifully and thoughtfully designed and landscaped. Had a lovely time relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great communication and a warm welcome. Would love to stay again in future.

Annika and the team were so warm, and made our stay at Carinya just delightful. The cabins are perfect, and the location makes it very convenient to explore the region. Waking up with cows outside the window was a real treat for our toddler. We can't wait to go back.
