Scenic Walkway

Have visited the Scenic walkway twice in the past 6 months. I really love what the idea of changing the theme of the walkway every year or so, it gives guests another reason to come back and visit. I thought the dinosaur themed walkway was by far the most incredible, you really felt like you were thrown in the middle of Jurassic park.

The scenic world itself, aside from the walkway, has three rides to choose from. Beware however the wait time for each ride varies from 10 to 40 minutes so I would suggest coming early.

In terms of food options, the attraction has a cafe and a small restaurant which serves fast food style stuff like burgers, hotdogs and fries.

It is a pretty good trail walk as it is very straight-forward and maybe I would say friendly to the walk-er. A full walk will take about 2-3 hours but it worths to try. It is amazing and phenomenal when the human and nature can make it to the place to go, visit and explore such a thing in here. You should come here and try once!!!! It can see the Three Sister from this stage of here.

Awesome view of three sisters or as the locals call it "the girls." Note for those catching local bus back to Katoomba rail station: Bus may be full and will skip stop. Bus drivers are rude and tense. Don't expect them to be nice. We ended up walking back to the station. 30-minute walk but pleasant seeing the local neighborhood. Didn't do the giant stairs and honeymoon bridge. One lady coming back said climb down stairs were hard on her knees, and they only went halfway. Can't go on bridge anyway as Ranger said the bridge was closed.

Fabulous, mobility accessible, rainforest walk located in the Blue Mountains.

Easily accessible from Scenic World transportation. Gruffalo walk was a bit of fun for the little ones.

You disembark the Senic Railway at the Scenic Walk. It's a lovely & cool 10 minute walk to the Sky Cable station & beyond. Offers a close view of the rain forest & some history of the Katoomba Coal mines. Lovely!!

Nicely set and described, but I would recommend more just to go a bit into the bush on the nearby federal pass!

The scenic walk is very tranquil, fresh air and a nice walk. Good to go on to have a break from noisy city life

Great walk along a boardwalk, full of information on history and flora.

Cool rainforest walkway that takes you away from the bustle of the life above you. Old relics from mines and natural fauna too.

Well organized , breathtaking rides (all 3 of them) ; well organized with trips every 10min descending 200m+ into Jamieson valley... they created a software app for kids to look for a mythical feature called Gruffalo but I was just happy to watch the native flauro and read about the history of how these majestic cliffs came about 10 million years ago

If you are trying to see the main blue mountains attractions like 3 sisters, katoomba falls, you should go to scenic world. You can view these sights from the comfort of 3 different fun viewing methods: cable car, enclosed zip train, mini roller coaster style train. All 3 included with the scenic world pass. Very fun and amazing views. Excellent way to have the best view without any work or effort. Perfect if you only have 1 day in blue mountains. Your whole trip can be just scenic world and see the sights from there. Extremely family/mobility restricted friendly. Highly recommend

The walkway through the forwst is not only very beautiful, but also really informative. I can also recommend it for kids and schools, as the signs inform about the history of the area and the plants and animals of the Australian rainforest, all while being easily understandable.

Worth visiting for sure!

An amazing place! The area is filled with history and relics from Katoomba Coal mineThe vegetation is fascinating to see, we also sore two Lyrebirds near the walks and 2 more Lyrebirds on the climb back up furber steps. Access is free if you bushwalked from one of the stair cases or you can travel on the Scenic Railway or Scenic cableway.

It has been a long time since I have been to the Blue Mountains the way they have improved the centre and rides is amazing, stunning scenery.
