Nicely layout store, has some great bargains and also friendly staff

I have been going to this store for years, as a tourist and as a local - and I've only ever had good experiences. The store is always immaculate and the girls are sweet, helpful and fun when ever I go in. This store and it's employees deserve a 5 star review.

Horrible customer service. Girl looked me up & down with a screwed up face when she was assisting new girl to help me and I asked a question reg a tear in the dress. New girl - you were lovely.

Had an extremely uncomfortable interaction with a middle aged, dark haired employee when shopping in store. After noticing her following my friend and I around the store, seemingly looking for something to tell us off for, she then approached us as we were trying to look at a dress further back in the rack and told us off for ‘leaning on the dresses’. You would have thought we were children by the way she was speaking to us. Her behaviour made the whole experience extremely off putting and despite wanting to buy multiple items in store, we decided to leave immediately due to her awful attitude. I’ve noticed other one star reviews have been published today and I’d like to note that these are seperate experiences from my own, and this employee has clearly disrupted multiple potential customers from trying to shop peacefully.

Horrible experience. The staff working there were extremely rude to me and my group of friends. They followed us around the store and would not leave us alone. They kept hovering behind us and it made all of us uncomfortable. We left the store and when we went back in later in the day the same thing happened. My friends and I were talking to each other in a circle and the lady working there got angry at us and started saying that she wasn’t having it. She said “the laughing and the giggling is not on” we were confused and i said we’re not doing anything wrong and she wouldn’t leave us alone and kept talking to us saying “i’m not having it, it’s not funny.” She then started talking to her coworker clearly talking about us and laughing. This whole experience was very uncomfortable and whilst we understand that they have a job to do we were not doing anything wrong and the behaviour the stuff displayed to us was unnecessarily rude and made all of us uncomfortable. would not recommend.

Literally the most uncomfortable/rude experience I’ve had in a shop. The dark haired shop assistant told off my friend and I for reaching through a rack of dresses to look at a bag? Obviously on a complete power trip. When we explained to her we were just looking at a bag she told us to walk around and grab it. Maybe you should’ve grabbed it (your job!) instead of just standing there and being a condescending cow trying to assert your authority. Such a loser. Completely turned my friend and I off buying what we wanted. She is a liability to your company!

Have shopped at sportsgirls for years in VIC and QLD but have never encountered such rude staff as at this store. They were blatantly mean! What an awful toxic vibe, did not expect in Byron Bay!

Super rude staff accused my 12 year old sister of stealing when she was just adjusting her top! The woman who did it didn’t even apologise after and death stared us for doing nothing!

The manager made my experience so uncomfortable bag searched my friend and followed us around the store the entire time

I hate it me and my friend were getting judged by the people working and we couldn’t do our shopping because of them
